Interesting videoPsych2GO Would you make animation about this experiment by Stanford physiologist, Carol Dweck growth mindset:
The experiment gave students in grade 5 a series of challenging puzzles to complete. All were told they did well. Half of them were told they must have worked hard at solving the problems. The other half were told you must be really smart for solving the problems.
The second round of puzzles included some easier and more challenging ones. The kids who were praised for their intelligence were much more likely to focus on the easier puzzles during the second round of play even though they had been complemented for being smart. Praising them for their smarts primed them to think they could not influence things and feared not completing a puzzle. They were less motivated to push themselves. They later said the experiment wasnt much fun.
Alternatively, the students who had been praised for their hard work and were encouraged to frame their experience on self-determination, worked on the hard puzzles. They worked longer and scored better and said they had a great time.

So journaling can improve the working memory? Is it true?
Can this help someone with AD(H)D too?
You know, this condition that comes with a small working memory. Can this help?
I ask bc I'm half-neurodivergent I'd say. I have a little bit of inattentive ADHD. I don't have enough symptoms to be exactly in the spectrum but I'm disordered enough that everyone can say that there's sth. with me. I actually get medication for this, I couldn't live without them.
So that's why this point is interesting for me.
It would be nice if I could find a way to make less careless mistakes at work, and I think it would be helpful if there is one thing that I can do to improve my small working memory at least a little bit

#1 resonates with me. Seriously, I will interrogate you like a criminal. I will also mirror you so hard you might think I'm toxic and narrsassistic XD, atleast the Virgo I did that to thought so. I have no regrets on it, I stand by my word. I love them for who they are, and I'd do it all again! I loved learning about them and the things she taught me.
I've primarily got street smarts and emotional intelligence. This Aquarius never cared for school, I passed English with a D average over all passing was C average.

Towards the end of last year I randomly decided to make a list of books that I havent read before but interested in. Were now 5 months into 2023 and so far I havent missed a day of reading. A couple of times I looked into something that a character did to see if whatever they did works in real life. Reading definitely makes you learn

Im realizing that I have already been doing these habits before watching the video. The only one I havent done is the writing my feelings one, though I am starting to like writing poems. So what Im getting from this is that I have academic and street smarts, but not enough emotional smarts.

I'm not sure if you've made a video about this yet, but why do we remember all of our embarrassing moments with laser precision clarity, yet everything else becomes a blur over time? I swear not a single day goes by where some random thing I did years ago pops into my head without warning.

3: 41 Listen to Silence.
Well, this isn't possible in my house because there is a lot of traffic and annoying sounds (sometimes neighbors renovate their homes COMPLETELY, sometimes my parents watching tv loudly.
So it would be great to me if it would be possible

Playing an instrument, dancing, singing or any other activity that involves time coordination and memory are a super habit to become smarter and you don't have to get to a professional level to get the benefits. Also reading poetry is another level of reading

I never consider someone with a 4. 0 as smart. Most people can have that if they try hard enough. I'm lazy and I've always just planned out how to have a 3. 5 so I can not fail and if I do bad once in a while I'm still good.

When I read literary fiction I can only understand what was going through the writer's mind/imagination at that time and it doesn't help me with understanding other people's emotions better at all. Duh

Do you set a goal to learn a certain amount of facts per day? Like, i plan on learning 5 new facts today. doesn't mean you'll stop learning that day but you will certainly, with intent learn 5 new things.
reply

I appreciate how Psych2Go suggested that we can read people by paying attention to what they say and do. I like to do that and I thought I was crazy.
Edit: And I appreciate the reference to Drake.

How would you react when you hear your friends sister receives a 4. 0 cgpa in her exam?
Id laugh my ass off.
4 is the worst grade in Finland, means the person failed big time.
