PCWorld: you know what's funny, that my now secondary rig, besides my first Ryzen 7 1800X based, is an FX 8350 coupled with 32 GB DDR3 1600 MHz and a GTX 1080. And I can still play modern games like AC Oddyssey, AC Origins, GR Wildlands, Mass Effect Andromeda, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Battlefield One, GTA 5, all CODs, Prey 2, Sniper Elite 4, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and similar modern games at 1080p ULTRA settings (minus antialiasing) on well above 80 FPS average without any stuttering whatsoever, which is more than my 1080p 60 Hz screen can show. And a puny i5 2500K or i7 2600K cannot do that anymore in modern games if they had the same other peripherials: .

750W is overkill for that build. I have a 4790k with a 1080ti, and 16 GB ram all OC'D heavily and water cooled with two 240 AIO's. I also have 2 ssd's with 3 HDD drives in an RGB case and I'm only pulling 350-370 watts from the wall using a kill a watt meter when running super heavy loads or stress testing my system. A 600/650/660 watt PSU is more than enough. Waste of power with the 750w since PSU's are most efficient at 50%. That system won't be pulling more than 300W from the wall. Can't blame you though, 60 bucks for that PSU is pretty good!

Disappointed with another year with black Friday and cyber Monday. Everything I wanted did not go on sale. The only good thing is I was able to get an i9-9900k from bestbuy for $476 before tax. $53 off for my birthday month. Plus another $80 off from gift cards from last Christmas. Either way bestbuy is selling the i9-9900k for $530! Now I need to find my mobo. Peace

Yeah, similar amazon story.
Bought a UPS, next day it dropped 35 dollars, contacted supported, after a bit of convincing, they issued me a $20 credit toward my next purchase.
Better than nothing, not quite everything.
Am a prime customer too.

8700k is the way to go right muew and the z370 ultra gaming is questionable; but i'm guessing ur not gonna OC the 8700K (LOL)
