Common man is this a review? It doesn't even come close, you are just whining about things and trashing a good game.
Here is my review about your review, so buckle up and enjoy the ride.
Few examples:
- You're talking about the button mapping, you know they can be mapped to other key's right?
Litlle help here, you can find these in settings. so this has nothing to do with bad ports from console to pc.
- The menu's are terrible? I know tripple A games where the menu's are almost the same, are you complaining about those?
- The skill tree is split up in different skills, for me there is nothing wrong with that, it's clear on how to use it and I don't have a special degree for that.
- There is nothing out there. well I like the nothing that's shown on my screen and having fun with that nothing, payed a good price for it too.
- Comparing this game to FarCry? Nothing to craft, no skinning animals. really guy's. ROFLOL I still can't believe you've said that
- Hmmm, stating the games has a feel like a game from 2009, are you sure that you not exaggerating here? I would at least say 2013. common are you really serious about this?
- Blurry? noooooo way duuude, you know that's also a setting right?
- A bunch of icons on the map where you can shoot some guy's. hmmmmm
Here are some titles with icons on a map where you can shoot some guy's
- GTA series
- FC series
- AC Origins and Odyssey
- Ghost recon Wildland and Breakpoint
- Division 1&2
and the list goes on, there are pretty good games in that list, even Rage 2 is one of them, it's not that Bethesda has ruined FO76 in the beginning that this game should be ruined too, which is not the case
Conclusion:
- Uninstall Rage 2 from your machine (you are not worthy the game)
- Install Rage 1 and Red Faction (no not FC you not worthy either)
My sincerly regards.

The game is fun and seems to be what it set out to be. What's disappointing is reviewers trying to get popular over just being negative. Rage 2 is a great open world that doesn't try to take it's self too seriously. If you're looking for a game to blow off steam and provides many fun ways to get around and kill stuff this is it. If you take everything serious and need loot boxes, unnecessarily difficult battles you spend most of the time rolling around enemies gripping tightly to a controller this is not for you. Graphics are great and the controls are pretty on point but could be a bit tighter on response. If you are a pretentious -hardcore- try hard keep in mind this game is mainly just a fun experience. If you need this game to feel more like others on the market then every new area or new weapon you get throw some money in the trash. I think there may be some gun skins to buy beyond that.

I wanted to like this game because it uses Vulkan, I will probably not play it though. I have enough games on my list: Resident Evil 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Doom, The Whitcher 3, Prey.
(old hardware, waiting for the 3700X/3600X and Navi)
Well, I finally know what Sophie's Choice is about thanks to Hayden. :p

I just cant be hyped for new games. They are very slight visual upgrades to an archetypal FPS game, with a marketing gimmick designed to play on our hopes for an actually competent, original game. This is the age of Hype where making a good game is secondary to simply making a game! Boooo

The game doesn't look good until, you turn off TAA, depth of field and chromatic aberration but especially TAA. I wish you guys had a PC Gamer reviewing games if you're gonna be using a PC to review them.

no one liked the first game. no one wanted a sequel. the marketing was shit bro. if anything this video of the dude flying the speeder looks cool. also i like the shooting. i'll wait for a sale.

The more I look at this game. The more I don't want to play it. Once I found out it was a different developer. I was skeptical. I'm glad I bought a noctua cpu cooler over preordering this game.

Nothing I've really seen of it is compelling me to play it, though it seems like the kind of title I might pick up in a year or two with a cheap key if I just want a open world game.

I liked the first Rage game also, apart from the 60fps cap and other console elements and (in particular) the fact they forgot to put in a final mission.

This is more of a 40 dollar game but it is awesome I do feel like a god. Haven't died from combat yet. Sorry man, I dont agree with you at all.
