Layers of Fear is one of the most overrated, crap games I've played in recent memory. Absolutely no sense of danger, the story goes nowhere and the gameplay is draw opening simulator 2015.
That said, I won't be too prejudiced against this game because I've seen massive turn arounds before. I strongly disliked Amnesia but thought SOMA was fantastic. Maybe I should try the observer.
