Remember Steve Sutcliffe is a pretty handy driver. If he says it's mind bending, imagine what it would feel like to an a ordinary amateur. Well I don't have to since I bought one earlier this year and can confirm it's absolutely mental! Savagely fast yet surprisingly easy to learn to drive. While it's not a Lexus of course, the reliability is very good now that the early teething problems have been sorted out, and the factory support is first class. They're no longer the bargain they were, but honestly there's nothing else road legal that comes close to the experience. It's faster than a 991 GT3 RS round Silverstone (heck it's faster than a P1 GTR around Anglesea. If you're lucky enough to be in a position to buy one and want the ultimate road or track experience, this is pretty much it IMO.

The point of owning a car is that it pleases whoever owns/drives it. So if that means you're a horsepower junkie, then I hope your car does it well. If you're about acquiring respect/appeal/attention then I hope you car does that well. But the way your car serves you is not the same for everyone else, and as this car is designed as a single seater with exceptional handling, I'm guessing the owners of these cars are looking for a please driving experience as opposed to what you're looking for.

100, 000+ gbp? the rain gets in and it's hard to pop in and out of it which makes no sense if you're a road car. apart from that it only offers one engine and it's phenomenally unreliable. you basically need a mechanic wherever you go and that makes no sense since it only has a single seat which means you you have to be the mechanic.

power: weight. i think the shoe would be on the other foot mate. and maybe half the fun is having these-hot chicks- sit in your lap while you burn past one of thousands of corvette owners. That's up to you though, and I personally don't think about women when it's track day.

Where'd you read that? BASE Stingray scored better on Motor Trend's skid pad than the GTR(which is still a great car) and it cost half as much. You shouldn't conjure up flaws for cars you don't like.

Its just beautiful. But I cant figure out the deal of a single seater car for public driving. At least where I live. Is like driving an F1 car in the city. Why, whats the purpose? Anyway, I cant buy one, so: (
