It's actually not too expensive, they each costs Lexus around $1M to make, including design, material, labor, time, & planning. & if you ever get to ride or drive one, you will know for a fact it's worth every penny. Much more quality, speed, interior detail and quality, & aerodynamics than any other car for $425T+. The 458 is actually over priced, I was disappointed of that car, which is actually over priced. You may just see a front engine turbo charged v10 Lexus, but c'mon, really.

i cant think of anything Lexus has done that Hasn't been done at least a decade ago by any European brands.

For an Italian, you don't know sh-t about cars.
You talk about numbers, and then accuse the LFA of being slow.
Sure, if Lexus was concerned about 1/4 times and 0-60, don't you think they have the money and the power to produce a car that will break records in those categories?
As someone else already mentioned, did you know that the LFA is one 'thee' fastest production cars in the world on the nurburgring? The NURBURGRING!

-suprastar2 Gt2 rs does 7: 18, ACR does 7: 16, id say those are pretty close.
The irony of course is they're both less then half the price of a LFA let alone a NE.
Funny how most Japanese(lexus is american btw) car fans argument is. - well its half the price- when the argument has turned for the first time lol.
Great car, but im wondering who Lexus copied this time to make it. as they do on practically everything else.

Yep did notice that aswell but being a mid engined car and a Porsche I'd expect nothing else. what I would like to see is Lexus use the more aggressive rubber that other automakers use the Michellin or Pirelli tyre and I'm pretty sure we'd see more speed out of this car for sure.
Akira Iida the test driver who did the lap says the optimal time if he gets it 100% right on that bridgestone rubber is a 7. 12.

-Howie262 lexus is still japanese, and by the looks of it you are the one lost. it is exported TO the us not from it. edmunds. com/lexus/, some reading for you. and a tip, do some research, it is not only in wikipedia it says japanese. maybe this is why lexus sell so good in the us? if all the americans think its a american brand, just a thought.

: -P lexus are like the infinety, witch is nissan, and acura, thats honda. lamps that turn is by citroen btw. but in the us, all the inventions made in europe for cars are made by mercedes. and lexus is owned and run by toyota, japanese!

As amazing as this new LFA looks and sounds I reckon there are only a very, very small number of drivers in the 'world' that are skilful enough to be able to extract the difference in performance between the standard car and the new one. and the fact of the matter is it's just too expensive for what it is.
