Do you really think that you can compare a race car, and its road car -equivalent-?
Yeah they do look similar and use the same engine block, albeit with very different internals. The chassis isn't the same. It looks similar, but that's it. Aston Martin uses Aluminium in their road going DB9, but the race car. That's carbon fibre.
Suspension, gearbox, electronics, steering, brakes etc. is also very different.
The Corvette race car, is a racing prototype, not a Corvette.

The reality on British roads is this car is twitchy in the wet, slides are not safe on the road and while the engine is great the chassis lets it down. In the wet my Turbo X is much faster through winding country roads and feels a lot safer and more planted too. I know it is fun to drift the 1M on a track but in everyday life it is harder to live with on our roads and since it always rains in England that is a problem.

lol - the seat memory comment. when returning seat after getting in back move the seat base back then return seatback to normal position. if you return seatback to normal position before sliding back the seat base it will stop in a forward position. well at least that's what i found with my 123d

My boss was sitting next to me. until this day he was a audi fanboy. His next car will be a BMW. 60tsd - is cheap for you? Its a -I know I dont need this car, but I want it-: ) Thats why the price is still high (used cars get sold more expensive than new ones)

there is a 1m from NJ usa that has been used for pretty much every US test on it. It sits at a BMW HQ lot in NJ to this day.
