I just can't seriously consider this car with that GODAWFUL front end. I know I'm not alone. BMW after many years of making -mostly- good looking cars, is now defending this dumpster fire styling by asserting that -cars don't have to look good-. Um, sorry, that is incorrect. Your sales figures will prove just how wrong you are.

BMW executives are so determined to destroy everything the brand used to stand for that they even managed to make the most iconic M model ugly. This M3/M4 is definitely the most efficient in terms of pure performance, but when it comes to driving experience and looks, I'd take an E46 over this one any day of the week.

Best review of these new M3/M4 yet. Excellently stated, BMW is going another direction with the M3/M4 and slotting the M2 below as what the M3 used to be about. Porsche has done the same with the 911 and Cayman. Moving the main sporting vehicle upmarket and creating space below for a new entry level top spec.

You guys just so want to hate this car. hoping it was rubbish. It's so pleasant to see you nitpick the smallest of details to find any kind of flaw, but, dude, really, I don't think BMW cares what you think the M3 should be. They kind of own that privilege. They'll give you what they think it should be.

I-m all for a calm voice in a car review (like Henry Catchpole or Harry Metcalfe) and appreciate not every reviewer will have the energy of Chris Harris or even some of the influencer brigade but this really was a dull video for what should be an exciting car. regardless of the looks.

The grill is way smaller than an Audi grill, but who moans about the Audi grill. Another pointless car with too much power to use in the UK except at a track and then you would go for a Cayman or something similar. Overtaking is a given but other than that, what-s the point?

Got to say it does look better in a darker colour. It takes some of the weight out of the design in the rear wing and arch area. Still detest the front end mind. Couldn't agree more about the M2 being the new M3 to us enthusiast's.

Nooooo, imo the Alfa quadrifoglio is hotter, and better looking, more fun, more -Ferrari-ish-. Sounds a hell of a lot better as well. But good video and presentation
