That's simply yet another opinion. I wouldn't say the S54 was perfection. I loved it, but I also love the S65. The induction sound of the S65 alone sets it apart from the S54, unless it's the CSL spec version, as that intake sound is pretty good. The S54 is and always has been a little -tinny- when revving hard. The S65 has a great muscular sound. My issue with your comments were the absolutes, -nowhere near as brilliant- and -sophisticated aura-. I don't buy into the mystique of the I6.

I bought a new M3 and I am still waiting for for my free Hush Puppies and Nylon stay press drain pipe trousers I want to look like a sales rep like the ones in the pretentious BMW magazine. Anyone else play Golf? :) E92 M3 for sale totally standard bar window sticker HONK IF YOU THINK I SELL TUPPERWARE I am fed up with being asked if I sell door when I fill the rep mobile up with petrol so I put a sign in it.

I've never been a fan of the E92 M3. A V8 engine simply doesn't command the sophisticated aura of an inline-6. As good as the 4. 0 V8 is, it is nowhere near as brilliant as the high-revving 3. 2 inline-6 from the E46 M3.
