Three great cars. The understeer problem on the McLaren could probably be quite easily dialled out with some fettling, but it-s still heavier than the Ferrari and doesn-t have the brakes of the Porsche, which for me is the real winner because of its bargain price and the fact you could easily own and run this car daily for ten years or more without any trouble like it was a family run around car. It-s an amazing machine.

Over a one hundred thousand price difference? Does that not automatically mean the Porsche wins? I mean they are not in the same class then are they, and if they are then the Ferrari and Mclaren should be embarrassed that the Porsche can keep up with them on the track with a difference that big in price. If it was say between 10, 000-50, 000 then maybe yeah ok their not all going to cost the same but, 100, 000!

also this is the main reason why I prefer motor trend's testing as far as track performance is concerned cause they have a real driver. not guys like Steve and Chris hariss(whose reviews I love btw) who just turn off the esc do some powerslides and think. oh yeahhh I'm a pro now let's set a lap time

2 lightweight race car specials versus a regular 650S road car with all creature comforts is hardly a true comparison. The fact the standard McLaren 650S can be raced like that is amazing and a 675LT which is the like for like comparison would kick the Speciales and GT3 's ar5e5

man u should have turned the esc completely off on the mclaren. motor trend's randy pobst lapped the 40 kilo heavier 650 spider almost 2 seconds faster than the 991 gt3. but I guess ur not skilled enough to thread such a powerful car around a track with no assistance whatsoever

Is it just me or do the Ferrari and McLaren look like caricatures of cars and the Porsche actually looks like a car. Cohesive, pure, and simply lovely to cast your eyes on. Like a woman with a perfect figure.

Stop using the GT3 use the GT3 RS if your going to compare it to those cars. Porsche would smoke those over priced things hands down, RS embarrassed the GTR imagine what it will do to these Hot Wheels.

Was that the actual race? Just run the 3 cars all at once with different drivers? I wish they would have explained how they did the test and showed telemetry for how they were driven around corners.
