The Ori games are on my shortlist, I am waiting for a pricedrop, MS is rather late with that compared to other publishers. Maybe around July, now that a successor is out the price of the previous Ori-game should decrease. I like platform games, the Ori-games seem to have good music and charming and immersive animations. My impression is that with Ori I will probably not get that nice platform-challenge which the best platform-games (like Megaman and Cuphead, though that is more a boss-fighting game it has platform mechanics) give but that is ok for this game.
I hope that Microsoft doesn't push to sign in with a MS-account, that shit drives me nuts. I don't want to see any MS-account message on the title-screen, just let us enjoy the animation and the music from the developer.

What Alaina says about developers watering down difficulty levels, that definitely is a trend. These days (hell, even with Crysis 2/3 this was the case) they never call it easy anymore, they call easy -normal- or -casual-. I now start games on hard, assuming that that is medium/normal. It seems to give the experience as how the developers intended it to be. But also games tend to be easier. For example, I played some Division 2 and that game really doesn't challenge the player in any way. The older Assassin's Creed games got flak for not having difficulty levels but at least they challenged the players if they went for the achievements and solved the puzzles. I can understand that they want to sell games to non-gamers too but for OG's it sucks.

I'm about 4. 5 hours in and I just completed the watermill. Fun game so far! Blind Forest was my personal favorite of 2015, so I had to pick this up.
