Good anytime but especially after midnight. Lynn: Why not soften noodles in water. Make a paste out of seasoning and veggie packet. olive oil in pan with a pat of butter, drain noodles. Beat 4 eggs and mix the seasoning paste along with some soy sauce. Any leftover meats like grilled chicken, pork, steak or for that matter any lunchmeat diced would work and you don't need much. I'd dice a large shallot into the mixture (or. grate it) mix it all together and pour into hour hot pan. Spread evenly. When bottom is set, place under broiler until desired doneness is reached. When don, place on serving plate and garnish withnfinely diced chives and very thinly sliced red pepper. Cut into wedges and serve with either chili sauce, chinese black vinegar or anything you want. To make it a fancy brunch serve it with an herb side salad dressed with a vinegar/oil dressing.

Nice video. looks delicious. First of all those are not Japanese ramen style noodles, they are Korean noodles. The amount of noodles in that package are about 50% more than a Japanese style package. So your source may be correct in that 3 eggs were correct in proportion. I like the idea of some ham or Chinese char-siu barbeque pork. The only downside of this comfort food is the tremendous sodium load. Read the package. I would have suggested using only half the spice package and cooking the noodles in chicken stock. For someone who is in the position of teaching others food, nutrition is a vital part of retraining the American public. Thanks for the video.

Sam, I made this and its great! I modified it a little bit by adding bacon bits and shredded cheddar. I noticed you work in bare feet. That would not work here as I have a ceramic tile floor and no matter the temperature in the house, the floor is cold. I am 82 and never have gone barefoot. Even as kids we never went without shoes! Keep up the good work, I love it!

Your source could have wanted all the moisture to reduce leaving all of the spices left with the egg/ramen. I agree on the ham or, maybe some bacon and diced green bell pepper. Lots of times we use left over noodles from spaghetti or elbows etc. with eggs poached or scrambled, and diced green onions with some seasoning and they provide a nice meal.

I don't think Forbes is wrong, but he did fail to mention that the noodles will take AT LEAST 4 to 5 minutes to soak up most of the water. Even if you were going to eat it as noodles, the soaking time WITH a cover is 4 to 5 minutes. So. this recipe was a failure from the start, since that part was omitted.

It looks really tasty! I wanna try this one tonight! That ramen is the most popular one in the South Korea. Actually boiling ramen with eggs is the common way, of course my favorite receipe, but this receipe could be new experience! Thank you Sam always giving me a opportunity to cook in a good way!

For 20 cent ramen packs 3 eggs would have been enough. That's a larger pack, and one the best cheaper premium ramen but I use the better one of that from Paldo in South Korea that comes with a hot oil pack as well but the one you show is very good and available at Walmart.

Throw away that shitty broth and spice packs that comes with it. Soak the noodles in hot pork bones dashi. Drain the noodles. Mix some green anions and Gochujang chilly paste with the eggs when you beat them. Put some cilantro leaves on top of the final product.
