Easy Homemade Lasagna Recipe. No Boil LSFA: Beautiful video. Like Harry (earlier comment) I always use regular lasagna noodles, uncooked, add 1cup +/- water depending on how al dente you want the texture. Perfect every time.

I made this the other night. And here is my experience. There is not enough sauce for a 9 by 13 pan. You either need another 8 or 16 oz or put it in an 8 by 8. It was very dry because there was not enough sauce. Also, Mama showed spreading the cheese on the lasagna noodles like she's icing a cake, easy peasy. Not so! You would need to leave out that cheese concoction for at least 2 hours until it is very soft. Even then, it broke the noodles and the noodles were sliding all around and was very frustrating for me. Other than that it would have been delicious, but I had to throw away the leftovers unfortunately. So that's my take on it and I followed your directions exactly. I'm only putting this out to help others, not to dis mama because I use a lot of her recipes. I'm only trying to help.

Hello, I have not been able to ever find the no bake lasagna noodles. But I am going to look better next shopping day. I really Love and Appreciate your videos cos you take your time explaining everything and that is something really missing from other cooking videos. With Diabetes effecting my eyesight from not only hearing you but being able to go back and listen to you I am able to understand fully. And I also have never made lasagna before. So since you're very patient and you explain everything in detail. I'm going to attempt making lasagna for my Niece's Birthday dinner. Thnx again for another Great Meal and Recipe. Have a Great Weekend!

Your comment about the parmesan cheese has me confused. So you used 3 oz in your mixture of mozzarella and then you used a quarter cup in your mixture of cheeses? Very confusing. Were you telling us to compensate for each mixture? Is that what you're saying. Well we'll see I'm making this tonight I hope it's not ruined

Just a tip from an Italian, when you lay that ragu down, it should provide complete coverage; no part of the bottom of the pan or the previous layer(s) should be visible after you put the sauce in. Edit: Great recipe as usual, though.

Mama! I love you so and so does my greedy 11yr old son! . Can't wait to try your squash casserole and I hate squash, but I do like Boston Market's squash casserole and we all know that's a joke. Oh, my, I love you so!

if you drain the meat this way, you are draining all that good flavor away from the garlic and herbs, try semi browning the meat first, drain it, then add your herbs and garlic to retain all the yummies.

Looks so yummy. That s a good ideas to add a cup of water to the sauce. I usually drizzled water tablespoons of water on top each pasta layer but that wasn t enough to soften the noodles.

I either undercook or overcook all my food attempts. This recipe was so easy, it came out PERFECT! I will definitely be trying more of your recipes. Thank you for the inspiration
