One trick I use is to take the stems of cilantro and freeze them, after I have used the leaves for something else. Chop the stems finely and them add them to the blender. My wife likes the flavor of cilantro but not the texture of the leaves. I use the leaves in a pico de gallo for me since I am the only one who likes it. As always you have the best recipes and show the best and easiest way to put it together. Thank you!

Oh my God, this salsa would be perfect on uncomfortably hot days! I live in Toronto, Canada (where Drake's from, and someone in the universe messed up big somehow, because we're experiencing temperatures in the 110s right now. Here. In CANADA! So, I'm gonna buy some green sauce tomorrow, whip up this recipe, and hope it cools me down some!

I made my salsa verde fresh with alot of cilantro which I don't usually like but it I good for the salsa both avacado, but I think the garlic made it taste weird. Did I maybe do something wrong? I didn't put sour cream either. I never knew to, but I will the next time.

Hey I love the video and the sauce looks great but I had a few questions. How hot was the salsa you blended, and how hot was the result after you mixed it with the avacado and sour cream? Also how long would this sauce last in the fridge or on the table? Thanks again

I definitely will have to try that they don't serve that at our Mexican restaurant. The green sauce do they serve us it just straight peppers. Plus the green sauce at the store comes in a little can. But I'll definitely try yours thank you very much.

What brand of salsa do you buy! Not just for this recipe but if you had to get one to consume as is? There are so many options at the store and as a Non-Latino I always like knowing what store bought substitutes natives buy! Thank you: )
