Here is an easy and delicious way to make golden crunchy fried shrimp. You can season and batter the way you like. Sometimes the addition of Panko bread crumbs add extra crunch and texture. I also include a homemade tartar sauce that goes great with fried shrimp or seafood of your choice. INGREDIENTS 1 lb Jumbo Shrimp (or size of your choice) 3 tbsp (45 ml) white cooking wine or Mirin 1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp (2 g) Creole seasoning 1/2 tsp (2 g) garlic powder 1/2 tsp (2 g) onion powder 1/2 tsp (2 g) lemon pepper 1/3 cup (48 g) yellow corn meal 1/3 cup (48 g) plain bread crumbs (or Panko) 1/3 cup (42 g) all purpose flour 1/2 tsp paprika (1 g) 1/4 tsp salt or to your preference 1 large egg oil for frying TARTAR SAUCE 1 cup Mayo (231 g) 1 1/2 tbsp chopped dill pickles (22 g) 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish (15 g) 1 1/2 tbsp chopped scallions (6 g) 1/4 tsp lemon pepper 1 tbsp lemon juice (15 ml) salt to taste

I LOVE the recipe. I will make it tomorrow. Those once you called burnt, oh, right up my alley. I make everything from shrimp to cookies, a bit on the very well done side. It's just how I like it. LOL, I don't think your husband was chewing, just popping into mouth and swallowing. I can only imagine how good they taste.

This is wonderful, using up your oils. That to me, makes a great cook. (I also appreciate that dredge sometimes is not enough or too much -- and was wondering if you had to add to it to accommodate all the shrimp. (I have issue when I dredge other foods, like chicken or other cutlets.

Your shrimp look terrific. I don t have the patience to marinade most of the time. I usually just salt and pepper, then tempura, then into the panko bread crumbs, and deep fry. I will have to try marinading the next time. Love your Chanel. I usually watch all your new videos.

I got a small glimpse at the kitchen, the diy kitchen renovation looks good. I wonder if you already did a before and after kitchen renovation video, I would love to see it. And the shrimp recipe looks good, I will definitely try this method.

You took precautious to make crispy crust then you put the cooked shrimp on paper towels! That makes for a soggy crust! Some ppl are learning from you, show them the correct way!

I would eat any of those shrimp and be so blessed to have eaten it! I do deep fry but the batter tend to jump off right into the oil. Now I know how to do it. You are wonderful!
