Junes pizza in the East Bay, which Jules suspiciously is very similar to in many regards, as far as superior in every regard and is actually the fully flushed out version of what this concept tries to promote itself as. New hype spots like this pop up all the time in San Francisco and are great, but like most of them this one won’t stand the test of time as a great like Tony’s does.

Looks delicious. I'm going to try a mushroom cream like that. Also dough is such a magic thing, I feel like we should take a beat every now and then to realize that it's basically a factory for bugs and chemistry to build us a perfect structure to bake.

LOL they put the Polaroids up on the wall using blue tape, the least permanent tape in the universe. So basically that memory you took is going to fall off and be thrown away in about a week tops

it's funny how every single pizza store owner talks about how they make their pizza as if they are somehow the only ones doing it this way. when in actual fact almost all of them do the exact same thing

Best ever chef interview. Very knowledge and credible. Everything he said was well explained. I would absolutely trust his judgement and artistry. Can’t wait to visit.

Using plain sauce and seasoning it when it's applied to each pizza makes sense. The flavours will be so much brighter and portioned specifically for that pie. I love it.

Dunno they opened a second ago while Pizzeria Delfina and Flour and Water have been making the same superb pies for decades. I wonder how much they paid for this PR.

These comments clearly show a lot of people don't know the first thing about pizza, especially New Haven style which he mentions in the beginning of the video.

Have lived in SF, NY and CT. The pizza in each is very different (I'm more of a New Haven pizza guy) but SF has always lagged. Excited to try this one!

Jules on the east coast looks very similar except for the shape of the pizza. It’s delicious. Any relation I’ll be taking the ferry to try it!

It's going to be even harder to get a reservation now =( At least it's still possibly to get a pizza for pickup and I live nearby.

This video taught me a bunch about the pizza making art: there's a lot of running up and down and you need a cool mustache.

Looks great, visited San Francisco in 1998 but I have got to admit their clam chowder in a sourdough bowl still reigns supreme.
