Cant Make it to Taipei? Get to Kembo, a small but fierce operation serving incredibly authentic grub. In Los Angeles, we're treated to every possible shape, size, and incarnation of Latin American street food not that anyone's complaining. But what about the inexpensive urban culinary traditions from other parts of the world? Enter Kembo --the Taiwanese street food trailer in Monterey Park. Lucas - For those people in LA who never venture east of La Cienega Blvd, it's refreshing to see you eating here, there and everywhere. I've driven by Kembo many times and was always curious to know what was being served. Really enjoyed the video and am looking forward to seeing more.

I think I've driven past this place a couple of times, had no idea what it was. Saw this video by chance, wanted to check it out. Unfortunately their truck was rear ended by a drunk driver a couple of months back, luckily no one was hurt but they won't reopen until Aug 31.

I love Taiwanese street food! Just to let everyone know, that is not ITALIAN basil, it's THAI basil. If you want to make this, then you can start by finding the basil at Asian super markets!
