Okay, first of all, the cattlemen style cowboy hat isn't the only cowboy hat. Gambler hats were cowboy hats either worn by people who gamble, or people who take risks like gun slingers, and outlaws. That's why almost every gunslinger in shows wore gambler hats. Look at the show called -the young riders- they wore gambler hats, same reason arthur morgan wore one, but also because he was an outlaw, the typical cattlemen hats were worn by ranchers, gold prospectors, and rich oil workers, not outlaws. The flat cap isn't an outlaw hat but it's also not a newspaper boy hat, that hat was worn by English and Irish people whether it was low class, or later on mafia in the uk. That western hat was another gambler hat, again used a lot for outlaws.

Never let an Urbanite give their two cents about anything that is Western/Cowboy related.
Any person then or even today that lives that lifestyle (Cowboy, Rancher, Farmer, etc) would never wear your top picks other than the Stalker hat.
THE top 4 hats in the game are the Stalker, Rodeo, Cutter and the Cattleman hat (no particular order. Those actually look good on a person and would be worn even today.
I will give props to anyone who can tell me why the Cutter hat has it's name! If you grew up on a farm and ranch, then you will know.

A good chunk of the hats he mentioned at the end you can find on npcs, some people don-t know this but some npc hats are collectible ones that can be added to your wardrobe at camp, there-s a select list, also some hats that you can find in the environment or at landmarks

Mostly agree with the ranking but I strongly disagree about the Legendary Beaver Flop Hat, in my opinion, for the best hat it-s a tie between the Beaver Flop Hat and the Exotic Hat, both of them look too awesome compared to the rest AND the Exotic Hat not even in the list-

I wonder if he understands that in 1899 they didn't actually wear the stereotypical cowboy hat. They wore bowler, and derby hats. Even flat caps. The wide brim hats were very popular and didn't block vision at all. These are time accurate, not boring.

My favorite, the muskrat cavalry hat ranked so low! Also Brian did miss a couple of very good hats. Exotic Hat in particular. How can you do Algernon Wasp so dirty after he slaved away making the perfect hat for you?

Arthur's default hat is always my go-to hat for any adventure or shootout, but my second favorite hat has to be the stalker hat, it just has that outlaw vibe to it

I LOVE the raccoon hat, I was playing free roam in story mode and I was at a saloon, and Anne guys started fighting me, I killed him (barely) and got his hat
