Should you read every book in Skyrim? And what are the top five books in Skyrim? Brian David Gilbert is once again put in a suit and locked in a room in order to answer those eternal questions in this episode of Unraveled

5: 00 i HEAVILY suspect you threw The Doors of Oblivion in that pile didn't you? :3
a curious reader with some knowledge of the first games (didn't play em) would pick up on a red herring or two.
caused me to scour the world for another book.
which had a very curious phrase about a certain tower having a hidden chamber?
so on a HUNCH i downloaded Morrowind.
used the console to kick myself to that tower.
explored it.
found the dungeon.
almost came right there on the spot.
the fact 99. 999% of readers miss those clues upsets me dearly
edit: HAH! you missed it!

furst time ever whatching a video of yours. the two always jumping camera-angles would -challenged- the hell out of my brain. i bet you have your reasons, and its just an idea, but why not use it for comedic effect by changing the angle BEFORE you rotate yourself. it might look funny!
edit: i did not want come across as mean or offensive in any way. i liked the video -
edit2: nvm, watched some more and you pretty much do this. lol
have a great one

As a history major I actually enjoyed all the history books in Skyrim. 2190 showing the turning of the 1st Era into the 2nd my favorite one was probably Sotha Sil teaching apprentices in the Psijic Order. The Real Barenziah was also really good. Really when your into TES lore a lot like I am the stuff about Arena and Daggerfall stands out better then it would for others

YOU PUT -Fall of the snow prince- IN HISTORY! AND SAID THEY WERE ALL BAD! Fall of the snow prince is an exceptionally interesting read, if you understand, it at least know about the mystery behind snow elves
If I had to give a top 3, I would have to say, Fall of the snow prince, The Lunar Lorkhan, and probably The Night of Tears. Honourable mention would be Mysterious Akavir

All I can imagine is reading books in Elder scrolls 6, and crying cause there is now like 1, 000 due to the time passing between skyrim and the new game. along with older books. All im saying is you should be able to read spell books to unlock them. like a puzzle or a dice roll every ten pages. Imagine the time wasted BETHSDA!

I like The Three Thieves. Idk, it's just got a great detail of the methods they used to do everything they did, displaced the personalities perfectly, taught some things about thievery and trust, and it was exciting at the same time as sad and pleasing. I enjoyed it, at least. -

A random series of short books that I particularly enjoy is about teaching the best ways to defeat a series of monsters and animals you find around Skyrim (It even has some illustrations! :D)
I believe it was because of those books that I learned that trolls are weak to fire

Am I the only one wondering how someone who can't read is supposed to know to look at the last line, understand it's meaning through no knowledge of letters, and get a scholarly friend to read it to them? I feel like Brian could've had some fun with this.

I'm just stealing and hoarding all the books even when I'm getting chased around by that old man in the college, coz all those books he has belongs to ME. Maybe it's time i start reading some of them

Most of the books in Skyrim have been a repertoire built over all the Elder Scrolls since Daggerfall, like the Real Barenziah is an example of books all the way from Daggerfall
reply

The reason it matters what a king did 700 years ago is because there are characters in Skyrim who were alive back then. That's within the life time of at least one Dark Elf.

As someone who-s collected books that I-ve come across in Skyrim I can say most of them are pretty interesting. However a lot of them are just like. why did you put this in here

Also you should do this for the elder scrolls online books now and can you send all the titles of every single book you had on the board please and thank you

Oh you wrong I would watch you do a synopsize on every book that's awesome background video material oh Im doing dishes time to listen to a Skyrim boon report

not mentioning Vernaccus and Bourlor, or The armorers challenge surprised me, i genuinely enjoyed those, but the Top series was correct those books are great

I was impressed until he said it was 316, 000 words, I can smash that out in a couple of hours. Then I was impressed again because most of them were so boring
reply

I don-t remember the name of the book but there-s this really funny one that-s basically just an unintelligent nord rambling about the state of the world

I can-t pull myself to write one paper in college and he wrote, recorded, edited, and did the reading for every book in an open world video game

Now that I watch this again, he probably put the flu shot bit in so he could take a good hour of work and claim the shot as a business expense.

I didn't know how deep this game was until I played it this year, it took me 12 years to finally be able to play it and I'm loving

Myths of Sheogorath was always one of my favorites to stumble across because it says Sheo made music to cure boredom

The most cathartic thing about this video is that BDG is in starfield. Homeboy got a check from the Todd man himself

You listed -Alduin is Real-, the book written by the smartest hick in Skyrim, as -meh-? This whole video is invalid.
