Red Dead Redemption 2: Beginner's Guide - What to know before you start playing

The game is barely playable. If you-ve played any rockstar game in the last decade then you get it. The character is cumbersome to control.
Just changing cover in a gunfight is laughably sloppy and slow.
Aiming? Good luck. You have two choices here - the game does all the aiming for you and it-s unfulfilling or you use -free aim- and no amount of tweaking will make it even 1/4 as responsive as any other shooter you-ve played in the last 15 years on a console.
I shouldn-t have fell for the hype. I knew this game would handle just like all their other games cause they-re more worried about shrinking horse balls than they are about playability.
I can-t even enjoy this game.\r\n

In the first big fight you get in to (mission start's with the guy who is tied to the tree, in horse-shoe overlook - think it's Kiren)
I win the battle against the O'Driscoll's - the others leve and i was in the house emptying the chimney and wondering if i should take the dubble barreled shotgun, hanging there.
While doing this the WANTED sign comes on. I rode away from the place, but slowly so i might find out who told the police!
I just said unknown!
So be sure to take the loot, then you can ride back.
Anyone else who had the same experience?

Great advice. Though in terms of the exploration/searching/looting, it was something I did not worrying about the mission objectives. Until all of a sudden I got a wanted rating because I lingered too long. Abused or not (overtime controversy) - Every single person who contributed to RDR2 deserves a standing ovation. Easily the most polished, seamless gaming experience to date. Unbelievable.

Can someone help me?
I got into a -bit- of a fight in town and now I have a huge bounty. I heard you can turn yourself but it will take all your money so it's best to contribute that money to your camp.
Thing is I don't see my camp on the map! Please help it's hard to come by money in this game and I don't want to cheat

I just recently finished story mode. now I'm Marston finally getting my Triger Stripped Mustang. But I went through the story mode so fast I'm eager to start over and really take my time. I got it on Christmas & just finished story mode now. I miss Arthur's voice. Phenomenal game!

Don't loot dead bodies in towns!
Shot at a bunch of rival gang members, because they shot first. So I then went to loot and people were like -nah man, I know he tried killing you, but looting through his dead body is too much. - Damn marshalls were on me quick.

IGNORE THIS TIP. You can go and get the best horse in the game for FREE almost right away. Just go back up to the starting area where the big lake is and there will be a white Arabian running around. Catching and taming it is challenging but worth it.

I bought the Ultimate Edition online, haven't played it Yet. was in the Downloading process when I Flew out on Holidays, hope to play it in a Day or Two. any Advise please? Does it take long to Access the Open World?

Hands down it's the best game ever made. The level of detail the beautiful scenery there's all kinds of things to do. It's just nice just to ride around on the horse and look around. It's just amazing

Like 15 hours in and I want to start over. I did so many things the wrong way and have had what seems like a ton o missed opportunities. I will say, I am most def replaying this game!

SIDE TIP: Upgrade your living quarters in your camp ASAP. It will cause other gang members to contribute more money to the camp.
