I've seen a lot of these videos of beaches absolutely coved in pure plastic and sometimes up to maybe 100 people gathering the clean them with garbage bags in hand. My question is why don't they just hire a tractor or even an EV truck like a Ford Lightning to comb the beaches with agricultural equipment? It'd do the whole thing in no time. Just buy the truck and equipment and ship it around on one of Team Seas boats or ship it on a barg to it's next location.

0: 50 4 continents? I see atleast 5 marked. In North America pars of Canada, in South America Brazil, in Africa a few I dont know the names off, in Europe Portugal itself and in Asia parts in India, China and Japan.
Besides that parts in the Philipinnes which I dont know if they are part of Oceania. If so, we would have 6 out of 7 continents and Portugal surely have a bit of land in the Antarctic along with the others, am I right?

Great video, excellent graphics and great to see the history of an amazing country like Portugal going mainstream. A few facts worth mentioning, Napoleon never conquered the Portugal but a few areas of it, Goa is not a city, it is the smallest province of India, and would've been worth mentioning the main reason for the decline of the Portuguese empire being the infamous Iberian Union.

This is nonsense. The U. S. and Soviet Union did not align. the two superpowers divided the Portuguese territories and millions of Africans were armed in Angola Mocambique, Cabo Verde etc by the U. S. And user. The super powers armed both fractions and civil wars slaughtered millions of Africans. I guess we can call this collateral damage of the Pig Superpowers

The Portuguese empire was actually never that big. You-re counting Brazil and the African colonies as they are today, but the Portuguese only kept a band along the coast. By the time they officially claimed the lands further in, with the other European powers, Brazil had already declared independence.
So, nope, never bigger than the Roman Empire -

i don't get it. if portugal can just claim huge portions of the continental shelf that are adjacent to their EEZ, why doesn't every other maritime country do that as well? surely a significant portion of the area they claim would be overlapped by legitimate claims from spain and other countries

went to lisbon for 2 days on our cruise it is a beautiful city but lisbon is overdue for a large earthquake and every time a earthquake hits the entire city's structure changes and with the problems of last november the country has a lot more to do before they can fully focus on expanding

WHY ARE YOU CONSTANTLY SAYING -SHE PORTUGAL-?
God this is tilting, I've never seen / heard someone doing this.

-Some people pointed out that the word Portugal in Portuguese is masculine, which is actually true. Example: -Que saudades do Portugal de antigamente-. -

Seeing their colonial history, it's nothing to be proud on instead Portuguese should be ashamed off. -
If people living in colonizer countries aren't ashamed off then every colonized country have right to reverse colonize & loot all colonizing countries.

This plan is just another gist but if pulled through, I hope my gov doesn't ruin the damn thing as they always do.

Sorry but, as a Portuguese and Azorean, you forgot to put as a important part of Portugal history, try and search about the Terceira Island, (Spain invasion, for exemplar) besides the Lajes Field or the last portuguese royal famaly house

Love how these vids never mention anything bad about the history untill like the very end of that empires history. The Dutch didn-t rule the spice trade for very long. The Dutch stole it in the 1600s and almost stole Brazil

Portugal need to hand the islands to Spain or the United States so that the territory can be better protected and the resources can be better exploited. They are too small and weak economically/militarily to protect them.

How is that going to work with Santa Cruz De La Palma, which belongs to Spain, only around 285 miles away from Funchal. How do you deal with the overlap of so called territorial waters, shelves etc
