I agree with the tariff. China already has a tariff on cars that are imported. Of course the Chinese car market is huge, but the regular Chinese person can't afford a foreign made car because of the tariffs (fees, taxes, etc. Cars made there cost very similar to cars made here for this market. China supports electric vehicles through licensing fees. A license plate for a car in a major city can be 10, 000 - 15, 000 and take months to get. Electric vehicles usually get free plates. So let Tesla make the cars for the Asian market in China, but put a big tariff on Chinese made auto parts for here. For all cars, not just Tesla.

Scotty getting any parts in any industry from China is hard and when you cant get 1 part for a circuit board its pointless and since the tariffs came on they've been gouging the parts thatre most essential. My company made an enormous breakthrough redefining hybrid gas electric viability and capability. But its known as process and procedure and building high end cars in tents. if that's not asking trouble to come knocking I dunno what is

Plus the EVs are way over engineered. Was watching Sam Crac talk about how it costs 34k just to fix a dented side panel on a Tesla. One reason is there are proximity sensors in the car that stop working if the shell is not perfectly aligned. And there is no way the poor are driving these things. They should be the simplest cars in the world, maybe 5k. A motor, a battery and a controller (which could be an android or apple tablet.

ok tesla took over the old gm plant in fremont. which used to make chevy blazers. the old k5's then it went to ford. then it went to a merger with toyota they were making trucks. its the old numi plant new united motors inc. tesla took it over. and they also took over the old solyndra building downt he street. as well. and if you ever come to california. you can see the back of tesla form the warm springs bart station

Im sure theyll do fine that factory might be for the Asia market and Europe. The US plant will be here to stay, in sure youre upset because Electric cars will make your line of work obsolete one day. Sorry but I had to disagree with you on this vid.

Get over it or get used to it; any way you cut it Elon has done more for the world than our past two leaders (sorry, I meant presidents. Speaking of Trump, maybe he ought to be supporting Tesla as we did Chrysler instead of shining up his airplane?

So why isnt there a generator on these cars and motorcycles. The generator could run off of a belt from one of the wheels and charge the system as you drive. idk am I missing something?
