Dang, you're good! The meter thing could be a problem for people with oversimplistic thinking. Always calibrate your instruments. A known current draw with a lamp similar to what you do ROUTINELY with scope on a rope is the ticket!
As to the diagrams - you always have to check your circuit diagram for the circuit in question BUT you also always have to check the power feed circuit too. You MUST check both. It is VERY COMMON industrial practise NOT to include side loads in single-circuit diagrams. For that you must consult the power feed drawings. I used to do power shutdown planning for a huge 20+ megawatt site. Hydro would call me at holiday times to see what we were doing. It takes days to plan these while consulting drawings and old load lists. Proper schematic searches are priceless. Nevertheless, your nose for trouble and your fabulously good visual inspections and your 'nose' for specific circuit problems and water leaks are what renders you as one of the best automotive guys on YouTube. Probably THE best.

My friend has a 2010 dodge journey with heat problem the doors controller has been changed. Thermostat and heater core has been change it gets a little warm on on driver side of the car. The dealer says something has been put in radiator like a stop leak. Would be 900 dollars to fix. My friend never put anything in engine. Im stumped on what it could be and what they would do to fix this for 900 dollars. I touched the the tubes going to fire wall for heater core one seems a little hotter than other but most def not cold any suggestions

Backup camera. why in god's name wouldn't you take the feed from the Reversing lamps? That way 1) When there's a fault you wouldn't take out the whole cars ignition feed. 2) If there's a fault, it will blow just the reversing light circuit. This then makes for a relative easy diagnosis as you would go straight to the light cluster first. Crazy install.

UPDATE: The customer stopped back a few days later and we installed the OEM antenna on the roof so it would solve the issues with the wet headliner. He bought the car in the condition it was in, back up camera and baby shark fin were all ready on there. He did not want to do any further testing with the internal key detection antenna's at this time

After watching several of your videos, it's very apparent that aftermaket add ons are the enemy. I'm wondering how many issues you encounter from the gps that many finance companies install now. It's also apparent that you are a great mechanic.

For those reverse cameras. I always prefer running a relay and pulling the signal off a reverse light plus power direct from battery or breakout box. A good marine grade sheathed cable for both the power and the signal work well for it.

Hey Guys, I have a 2015 dodge grand caravan that has this problem with the AC. When i turn on the AC the passenger side blows hot air. Any idea where the problem could be?

It might be the key itself that is affecting the starter more than likely. So I looked up a picture of the car and the white fin is not stock because that is where the antenna goes.
