I love Donkervoorts. I really considered the older 4cyl D8 hardtop but chickened out and got a 911. I keep coming back to look at them and wish they did the 5cyl with the hardtop as I don't like open cars.
On holiday last year in the west of Ireland I met a guy with a old 7 style car. I knew it wasn't a Caterham and since it was on Dutch plates I asked if it was a Donkervoort. He couldn't believe I knew what a Donkervoort was. His car turned out to be one of the original Lotus 7s imported to Holland and modified by Donkervoort to be legal. -

70 = JD. Nice detail in the grill logo.
If I'd be able to spend these amount Euro's on a car. It would be something like this.
Best of all. Just take it to your local Audi workshop for the maintenance.
Perfect package.

141, 000 thousand and he just drives around like its a 20k build it your self. Seriously. how about a fair representation against the Caterham 670 or anything else.

headrest set far back so you can wear a helmet and be comfortable. However, banging my elbow against that center console would drive me crazy.

Great review of a great car. Makes Porsches look like the boring VW tat that they are. Would love to cane one some day. Thanks Matt and Autocar.

just a little advice, most people want to see a car, not a host, perhaps after this, more driving shot not just a glimpse. thank you.

All this talking is informational sure. But come on. That's a 5 cyl! Less talking and more driving please! This was disappointing.

If seems to try and bridge the gap between the Caterham and Morgan and fails. One could both for the price of a Donketvoort.
