great show as always but didnt feel ny real leaps made from what was said. seems to be same incrimental uodate and i was expecting something alot bigger. i certainly was hopeing for more details on battery rather than the kinda tell you kinda dont situation that was here. still cant wait to see if there are real battery life differences. i have a 4k yog 9. 1 TOP ONE WITH LEATHER. SPEED IS GREAT AND BATTERY IS OK OR GOOD, I GET 5-7 HOURS OUTSIDE GAMES. i wish it was 10-20 then it would be charge mostly every two days.

We need Intel to fast track their manufacturing, we have seen what Apple can do at 5nm with the M1, as much as desktops can feed more watts to the cores it would be great if we didn-t have to. On the portables there is need to conserve battery life. I-m happy to see this new hybrid architecture, I think by the time Intel reach 3nm the efficiency cores will be able to support AVX-512. It is great that the H series now gets 96EUs on the GPU. I hope we can get to 128EUs for the iGPU.

Based on the performance tests it really doesn't achieve much greater than M1 Max and that is plugged in so not sure if I would say it does anything much to compete with M1 Max to be honest but still it has at least caught up. Those Alder Lake laptops roughly 8-8. 5% faster for the actual CPU performance (not GPU) than M1 Max. I suspect that the NVIDIA 3080ti and 3070ti will be faster than the 32 core GPU in M1 Max but they will also reduce battery very quickly.

For me a as hardcore desktop/workstation user. A gaming type of laptop is kind of a contradiction in terms. I do not see any real benefit in them, that can justify the price. For me laptop computers is more like basic portable machines not for power use. And for this purpose they absolute have a meaning. But anyway feel free to have different opinion. This was strictly my opinion.

Great stream! Did you get a chance to get a rough idea about battery life. I am considering returning my Macbook M1 Max but wanted to see if battery life was a little better than 11th gen? Do you think you could get around 10 hours programming, while watching youtube and possibly running 4-6 docker containers -- No Gaming?

In over an hour of video this Intel/Nvidia fanboy only annouced a handful of pointless gaming benchmarks.
No Geekbench5, No PCMark10, No Blender.
He must have saw scores comeback identical to 11th gen numbers and chose not to reveal them on camera. SMH
LOL, Ryzen 3000 is going to spank 12th gen mobile.

I was 10 min late and listened at 1. 75 speed till it caught up. I had a question for Dan, but I had to pause for a team meeting. Then the boss wanted to talk. And I didn't get back until you guys finished.

Any information on battery performance on ecores and if there is any improvement on 11th gen. It's honestly the only thing people care about.
