These Capelix LEDS are complete TRASH, I got a VERY expensive 64GB 3600Mhz kit on amazon, out of the box one red led was burned, after 2 hours another red led was burned, each square on top of the RAM has 3 leds, red, green and blue
I contacted them asking if they can send me the leds to replace, the CS said it cant be done and i should send it back, so i unscrewed the RAM kit [2 screws], no glue] and the leds come as small strip that can be detached and reattached, it has one of this small clip connectors.
Also Corsair RAM is complete shit, in my life i had 3 corsair kits, all expensive for their time, ALL were sent back because they couldn't work at XMP.
On the otehr hand all the GSkill kits that I got, all work at XMP out of the box, Corsair is too lazy to do RAM QVL, but G, skill doesn't, you just open the web site and see if such and such kit is compatible with your motherboard.
I do like Corsair NVMe SSDs, they quality, have long warranty and very fast

BS! People get upset of memory because it's [typically] the only component that does NOT have ANY backwards compatibility! So, when a new memory standard comes out (DDR5, for example, anyone that wants to use modules [created for that spec] usually have to buy a new motherboard as well! -- Who else (other than enthusiasts) would want to rebuild their ENTIRE system just to use a COUPLE of new memory modules! -

So. RAM is super complicated. even buying 3600 mhz won-t give you that speed unless you know where and how to unlock it. great! Lots of techno babble here. not much goto advice.

I have a R9-3900x on a X570 Taichi mobo under a H110 cooler. I'm finding that my 4x8gb 3600-18 Corsair Vengeance LPX (from Spectek - Hynix) will POST OK and runs Cinebench at 3866-18 but I get a bucket load of memtest errors. At 3800-18 I get 1 error in memtest.

Unfortunately this is not the Jonny Guru of Corsair RAM, although he did know that the RGB on the Dom Plats wouldn't affect it's performance - good to know. (Almost) pointless video, shame

People still paying a premium for samsung b die lol. Hynix c die has no issues running 4000mhz lol. Legit bought a 3200mhz kit and ocd it to 4000mhz cl17 love the rgb too lmfao
