Great tip Mynda! I've discovered an easier way to determine the Fiscal Year without using a lookup table, I use the formula YEAR(EDATE(A2,6)), where A2 is the date you're trying to evaluate. The 6 in the formula is the difference between the month number of the start of the Fiscal Year and 13. So if your Fiscal Year starts in October (10) then the formula would use a 3. I've used this formula to correctly calculate the Fiscal Year values for larger data sets where the lookup table might get cumbersome. Hope this helps.

Thank you! if I have let us say Month Jan in my Filter Field (Month) in Pivot Table Field List (Not in rows or columns) and I create a Timeline and I choose Feb, it does not change from Jan to Feb in Month Filter Field. Am I confused or something is not right? Whatever I choose on the TimeLine, shouldn't this be changed to the Month Filter Field also? Thanks
