This is smart! I have to figure out the date range for my AR aging report. By adding the period, I'd be able to do the analysis easily and get the -as of date- based on the Period. Thanks! :-)

Hello, great idea but what about if instead of having only 2 years, I have 10 years, the slicer would have 120 rows. Would it matter? Would it be the right approach in this situation?

I am trying to do WEEKS and MONTHS. But when I use Days - 7 I can no longer add years, months etc. Is the only way to add a new column in my data for week number?

Hello, I have discovered you today and already watched an hour of your videos. Could you please tell how can we break the dates into quarters instead of months?

Once I updated the dashboard, year slicer automatically disappears & the pivot diagram also crashes. Could I have a solution for this matter?

don't have to adjust the bottom of the view field -Up- you can right click and select -Slicer Settings- and then -Hide Items with No Data-

when you refer to --Date-, it automatically calculates for everything in that column - very cool. How do you get it to do that?
