Relationships come with questions, therapy comes with answers. Find them with my paid partner BetterHelp. Click not my own voice in the video My own hand made products! Check them out here: www. grankvist-outdoors. com I hand-craft all these wooden products myself. I can only make a few at a time, so you have to be first to buy one when a new batch is released. They are all made from hard nordic oak, making them extremely durable, holding up for a lifetime of abuse. I was told that my dream of selling handmade products wouldn’t work in today's world where everything is mass produced. I want to prove them wrong. My goal is to expand into other handmade products eventually. Making a series of lifetime quality handmade goods. Breaking free from mass production, supporting our environment. So check out my website: --------- This is my gear that I use to make these videos possible: My main camera: My second camera: My lens: My drone: These amazon links are affiliate links. By using these links I earn a small fee from your purchase, it does NOT cost you anything extra. Thank you for your support and be creative with your new gear! Thank you Stevie Antoniou Media for editing this video!

Hail from Australia, mate I want to say I've watched all your videos now and they are nothing short of impressive and I dont even feel like that word is adequate enough to describe it. You've displayed such a level of discipline not many could ever drream of matching and your will and determination stands tall when it comes to seeing a project like this through where many would have walked away and given up. I hope you dont stop making videos, I feel honored to be able to watch you work, its a pleasure, bravo mate.

erik please never take a betterhelp sponsorship again. i know they probably pay well but they have done and are doing horrible things - they've sold private and confidential data, have used unlicensed therapists (stories of anybody from crystal healers to homeopathy peddlers, extremely overcharging patients, and so much more.
they commercialised therapy and got slapped with a 8 million dollar lawsuit for how they did it.

I am pleased but not surprised that your journey was triggered at least in part by Dick Proenneke. You have done his memory a great Justice and honor. You did a wonderful job of learning and perfecting the skills you needed to build your home and you should take great pride in it. I look forward to seeing your next projects and thank you so much for sharing all of these moments with us

You started as a kid with an axe, chopping down trees, taking it one step at a time. And now you're a master wood worker, with your own hand built cabin.
I enjoyed watching this series and seeing you get better, not only in your craft but also the quality of your video productions. You've come a long way and I'm looking forward to seeing what's next!

Thank you for sharing your videos. My father enjoyed watching the beginning of your journey. Your videos of living a simple life in the midst of nature reminded him of simpler times when he was young. He didn't live long enough to see the finished cabin, but you brought him a lot of joy in his last few years. He died three years ago at the age of 90.

The last episode will be when the pull your dead corpse out of that cellar after you’ve died from asphyxiation in an oxygen deficient space caused by decomposing potatoes. That’s a death trap of a confined space that anyone who knows anything about confined spaces could tell you is going to end your life.

Wow, you do so much, with skill and the patience of Job, and in that cold, Nordic weather! What part of Sweden do you live; it looks to be a tranquil and beautiful place, unspoiled by urbanization and tourist traps. Keep on keeping on Eric, you are a true inspiration to many. Cheers, dude!
reply

Eric I wanted to say that you are certainly an inspiration and from one human being to another, it makes me proud that there are young men such as yourself out there. Gives me some hope. You are a very skilled and dedicated fellow! Keep up the good work and I wish you the best in life!

Erik, I do not possess any of your masterful skills, however, thanks to your dedicated filming of your Beautiful Log Cabin, I feel like I've walked and endured every step, feeling, & expression right along with you! It's been an Incredible ride, thanks for the Journey!

Build an addition or something this can’t be the end. But you’ve worked so hard and if a break is what you’re heading towards, you deserve it! Thank you for the content and amazing craftsmanship it’s been an honor to be apart of this journey with you

Erik, I admire your videos, they're therapy for me. I would like to purchase each one of your products and am even willing to come to Sweden to pick them up. Do you have a close male friend with whom you can partner up with in making products

Glad you got the help you needed, thanks for letting us know where to go if we need help. Please keep the videos coming, they need to be daily or weekly, just keep us updated every now and again. All the best to you and stay strong!
reply

Amazing. I remember the first video, and I am still just as impressed by your skillset from when you first started, to now. Forging your own tools is great.
Good job on selling out of everything in your store!

Incredible photo, editing and narrative. As usual. Yuo are not a building a cabin in the woods guy - You are a storyteller, a film maker, an author. An artist. The photo, the sound, the lightning is esquisite.

Erik is not afraid to revive the ancient Swedish rural life. Everything from hunting to self-sufficiency is worked out, with precision and knowledge. It is a privilege to be a part of it.
Best regards to Erik

Always feel at peace after watching your videos. I'm living in a country that is experiencing so much termoil between good and fascism. I hope Sweden will never have to go through this Hell.
reply

Curious how Betterhelp often align themselves with people who are building a cabin alone in the woods. Does that say something about those of us who seek escape to the wilderness
reply

Your videos provide a form of therapy. You are doing something, living your life, in a way that I am sure is the envy of many of your viewers, me included. Long may you continue.
reply

Okay, whittling a broom stick and dustpan to clean up the wood shavings you just made, that got me to chuckle a little bit.
Awesome videos can’t wait to see what’s next.
