The best steak starts on the grill with this melt-in-your-mouth beef tenderloin recipe - just make it! Ian: Best steak I ever ate was olive wagyu, I bought 3 filets and it was like 350, ON SALE! It was almost like a cross between bacon and beef. As much as I enjoy eating steak, I feel bad for the cows that are fed shit they can't really eat and probably have horrible stomach issues, and most likely many others, throughout their life because of it. They say healthy body makes a healthy mind and vice versa, so I wonder sometimes if the misery of the farmed animals we eat, is transferred to us somehow. I would love to do a study on it someday. I try to only buy free range and pasture raised, I am willing to pay extra for peace of mind, knowing the animals are happier. I know people will probably talk shit, but idgaf, I like animals far more than people.

Yo Sam, if you are concerned about the butcher's string / cooking twine burning on the grill, soak it in very hot water for 10mins before you use it to tie up the meat, try this also with those thin bamboo or wooden meat skewers when making satay sticks or shishkabobs to cook over charcoals or open flame grills to prevent the exposed ends from burning or catching on fire: -P

Thanks for all the fantastic videos. Keep the coming. That filet is perfect. One comment, and please take it as informative rather than critical. Shepherd's Pie is with lamb. Shepherds raise sheep, as my Brittish friend pointed out while looking down his nose at me when I made the same mistake. Cottage Pie is the beef version.

Wow. I am sitting here and I can't believe it. what you say, how you say it, your next door gardeners, wow. but how you prepared this, and the baguette and cream sauce, and the rub on the magnon, wow. I was laughing sometimes just at awe. Watching from Montreal Canada

Dude- Awsopme job cleaning, trussing, and cooking that strip! DO NOT grind that chain you removed! Clean it up some and treat it just like like the rest and you will be rewarded with more versatile tidbits that will please even the most discriminating of gourmets!

You have a unique style and obvious knowledge of your craft. I love to cook and learn but will not be watching you again due to your foul language. Clean up your act and you will be more popular. Ramsey learned this early and became more successful.

Dude! I had to go off meat, salt, oil and sugar for a while because of my health, but I love watching you. I can't eat it, but I love watching you cook it. I love that everything I've seen ends up in some kind of sandwich. I LOVE sandwiches.

I wish we had steak cuts here in my part of the world. Here our butchers just hack through the cow with axes headlessly. Great tenderloin though. Big fan been watching you cook for quite sometime now. Keep up the good work.

I used to insist on using fresh ground pepper for maximum flavor. I bought some Kirkland Fine Ground Malabar Black Pepper at Costco and think it's more flavorful and certainly easier house than a pepper mill. What say you?

Dude I have a suggestion and you almost went there. You should have run out with son filming and offered it to the Gardener to get an instant reaction! That would have been awesome! Don't forget to bring them a beverage.
