This Mexican chorizo torta recipe makes the best quick & easy sandwich - chorizo + cheese + avo! Jeanett: This Mexican approves! If you love this recipe, I think you'd also love Tortas Cubanas! Im not Cuban but definitely really freaking delicious! Pretty much exactly what you made here, and add weenies, milanesa, bacon, and sliced chiles! Salsa is also a great option if you dont want slices of chile. And also on the bread, butter both slices just a bit, toast them, and Also toast the outside of the buns to make the whole telera crunchy. Before constructing your torta on both buns spread mayo and avocado just like you did and then continue to add your chorizo base, milanesa, weenies, bacon, chiles or salsa, avocado, and top bun. Super delicious and it's a lot of food to enjoy lol

Hey Cooking Guy. have you tried papas con chorizo? My old time favorite breakfast dish. You dice the potatoes, fried them, add chopped onions when the potatoes are half done fried. Drain oil. Fry the chorizo (pork in this case - Selecto a Mexican brand) on a separate pan, and then add to the potatoes & sauted onions. Green salsa on top of the potatoes and refried beans on the side. yum!

The chorizo is by tradition made with pork. Beef honestly I've never tried it. I have a poultry shop and make my own ground chicken breast chorizo with my family's recipe which originally was made with pork (I also sell it. See if you can manage to get chicharron prensado (pressed chicharron) and try making tacos with it (tacos de canasta) you'll love them.

Just saw your video cause I am a huge fan of Tortas plus anything with Chorizo is great. Let me tell you I grew up eating Chorizo Tortas at home and your torta looked delicious great job. Also thanks for using such authentic ingredients that's what truly make the experience that much better.

I came for the picture of the food you are making. You must love the sound of your voice because you just dont shut up. We dont need to see all your high priced cooking devices either. Just cook and be done with it!

One of my favorite things about growing up in Chicago was having Tacos El Norte around. The one thing I always got was the chorizo con huevos torta. This looks just as good as what I grew up with.

My neighbor used to make these and sell them. They were my favorite. As a pudgy 7 year old I would eat 2 of these with a coke. I have no regrets.
