I bought this pack on sale after wathcing this a while back. XD I played it twice and then uninstalled the sims 3. apparently i just dont enjoy ts3 anymore. but then. I'm a builder. and the sims4 build mode may not have create a style. but I do love it sims 3 can get frustrating sometimes for build mode. just a play style preference not saying its bad, it has its benefits too.

I know this came out like 9 years ago, but I remember appreciating how similar the console edition was to the PC version was for the pets version. Horses weren-t there unfortunately, but for the most part every feature was still there.
And it added plenty of things to that version from ambitions to make up for the things that were missing.

Pets is probably my favourite expansion. No only because of the cats, (I love cats, but it introduced my second favourite town. I've likely clocked up more hours in Appaloosa than I have in Sunset Valley, and that's saying something. Hmm, helps that much of my Sims learning experience was there in the first place.

This expansion pack disappointed me when I bought it years ago. The cats, dogs and owls look like shit. The deer move in a weird way and the raccoons are just cats with raccoon print. The animal sounds are bad. And there are just too many bugs. This is my least favorite expansion pack of the ones I own.

I started in appaloosa once and so i decided to go straight to a bar and the first thing i see is a a bunch of people drinking and arguing behind the counter or playing arcade games but weirdest of all there was just a horse standing on the stage. Little to say i moved out of town after i got home

I really want to get Sims 3 Pets when it is cheap (like now on Steam) because of the horses and pets. Especially how you can create them from scratch. I also want to build my own Ranches.
But I am broke. And I do not know how to buy things on technology. :)

I much prefer having control over my pets than not having it. Maybe it's not exactly realistic but since when has The Sims ever been 100% nothing but realism? And I simply adore animals so this expac is a MUST for me. I cannot live without it.

The limited edition for the Win/Mac never gave me the pet shop in the game, I was in touch with customer support for YEARS before they were just like -yeah here's a 15% code to use on origin- we dont know why you cant access the content.
