Duuuude a classic from my childhood! blew me appart the Epic Games we now know and love / hate was the same company! On a side note, i'd love if you make a video about Vex, was a 90's-ish platformer starring a lizard, was fun as heck for me! I spent a lot of my gaming childhood playing Diablo 1, Carmageddon 1, Skynet, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage, Wolfenstain, Doom, Heretic, Strife, Descent I & II, Blood, Hexen, Stunt (weird car stunt game, i remember it sometimes used the internal speaker of the pc making it impossible to play at night or discretely) Rise of the Triad, Albion (one of my fav RPG) Hover '95, Fury3, Comix Zone, Ecco the Dolphin, Daytona, Screamer, Demolition Derby and Duke Nukem (all. I miss the 90's.
Yeah, i know its quite a large list but perhaps someone who reads it may remember a lost childhood game like me, sorry the lenght!

Jazz Jackrabbit is my very first Videogame and this is even to this day still cool and awsome.
I like in this Game the simple, but very funny gameplay, the colorful leveldesign and the cool music and soundeffects.
It is very interessting to see, how much backstory is behind in this awsome game and I have still the Jazz Jackrabbit CD-version and this the best Version of the Ports, because in this Version are all Episodes in it and I grow up of this Version.
And thank you for the very good Review and this Review is also one of the best Reviews that I ever see.

16: 34 - I begged my mom to buy me the CD version your holding (from Kmart as well, lol) thinking it was the complete version of the game. I remember getting it home, tearing it open, installing it, only to discover it was the same damn shareware version of Jazz Jackrabbit I already had, smh lol. I was heartbroken but luckily Kmart let us return it with no fuss (even though it was open) but I'm sure lots of people weren't so lucky and got stuck with this useless version of Jazz Jackrabbit.

Had this game off a Full Version Shareware disk that made its rounds over the years in school. Everything from Doom to Hexen and a myriad of (modern) games from 1990 to 1998. 11 years at the time and this game was traded like crack among friends! Love this game just as much as LGR does!
This game introduced me to Cliff's work as well which also led to me playing Dare To Dream as well which was also on the disk! Hope you do a review of DTD as well LGR!

I bought the Jack Jackrabbit Trilogy as a christmas gift for my little brother. It was only 1- and I didn't know the game, but it looked kinda cool and I think he was 4 or 5 at the time, so I figured that even if it were crap, he will still enjoy it because in this age, you pretty much enjoy every game. And since it only costed 1 buck I was pretty sure that the game would suck. But ooh boy was I dead wrong. It was a pretty fun game!

Aaahhh. Jazz Jackrabbit, the hours spent with it in my teenage years: -D
It came bundled with a Gravis Ultrasound sound card that a classroom mate of mine bought at that time, it was the limited shareware version. When I saw it at his home, I just had to copy it.
Still have it in my game archive of course. Well, not exactely that shareware version but finally the complete one, which I downloaded some years ago.

I just got the bought the Jazz Jackrabbit and Holiday Hare '95 games from Good Old Games and I just came across Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Holiday Hare on CD in a big lot of PC games that I bought. I paid a lot of money for the lot, and there were several gems that I was looking for, but I really wasn't expecting to find that game. It was in the original jewel case and everything. Pretty cool find.

The shareware version is available as an app for Project Eris, the recently released operating system for the Playstation Classic. They addressed one of LGR's complaints, making the playfield at least twice the original size, but there's a lot about this game that doesn't sit well with me. I don't know if Sonic and Turrican are two great tastes that taste great together.

Brought the first game after my dad took me to a computer fair in the late 90s, played 2 with a friend on the coop mode. Its a shame it never really took off as a franchise. Maybe it's just nostalgia but I feel these 90s and early 2000's games had an edgy creepyniss. Even stuff aimed at kids was weirder more unexplained. maybe just my imagination.

I remember LITERALLY buying video games from Epic as a Kid. As in my friend and I didn't want weeks for the mail so we literally went to their building in Potomac and asked if we could buy one there without the shipping costs and the receptionist said 'Yeah, sure. and here. take these demos while you're at it. ' (We were 13)
