Unscripted quick review of the towns for The Sims 3: Barnacle Bay and Hidden Springs. What all do these downloadable new towns include? Are they worth the cash? - Buy these towns, other Sims 3 things on my game shop for less!

It is so weird rewatching these reviews with the way TS4 is going fresh on the mind - 20 dollars for a town was a big stinking cash grab, yeah, especially with the depth that Barnacle Bay and such offered - and still, it's so weird looking at them now and seeing the sheer potential in them. Coming from the stupendously limited, uneditable, hollow and small towns in The Sims 4 kind of drives it home how even mfing Barnacle Bay - which I certainly never paid for -- had more variety and value for cash than most of the schlock shovelled out by the Sims team now for 4.
It makes me tremendously sad to see how far the franchise has fallen. they really just want to make a mobile game. Compare World Adventures (an absolute gem) to that sorry POS Jungle Adventure in both price, content and hype, and it becomes so painfully obvious TS4 will never have more depth than a sieve.

Coasterboi's Los Aniegos and Angel City look beautiful. Along with this, the citizens don't look that bad and don't all have pudding faces. You can really see the care he put into it. Along with this, it is free (besides the required EPs and Store Content, and appears a lot nicer than EAxis worlds. Personally, I recommend Angel City, as it is smaller and has fewer lag spikes. Why is it that a community member can create a better world with houses that I don't have to renovate to look somewhat decent, while EA's homes are pretty yucky and many sims have pudding faces.

I'm pretty sure I bought Barnacle Bay or Hidden Springs from EB games or something, but the serial code was MESSED UP! The serial code is supposed to be 5 sets of numbers and it was only 4 sets of numbers! I couldn't return the game and I think I called EA or I was so pissed I didn't ask for help from EA and i was just so sad. Glad to know I didn't really miss out on much.

Well now would be a really nice time to cut down the prices on everything with the Sims 4 being all old now. YOU HEAR THAT EA, JUST GIVE US CHEAPER THINGS FOR THE GAME YOU STOPPED SUPPORTING. JUST LET ME FUFILL MY AESTHETIC WITHOUT HAVING TO WATCH ADVERTISEMENTS FOR HOURS ON END. Who am I kidding? I renamed the Origin app on my computer to 666 for a reason.

You are so salty about this lmao I love it: 'D
So, full disclosure, I came here specifically hoping you would have reviewed these towns, and I am so happy you spent your points so I wouldn't have to spend my money. By the way, seven years later, the price is STILL $20 -_-
Thank god you reviewed this, I would have been pissed.

It's funny that you mention the whole -gettin with people them killing them and taking there house- because there is a challenge called the black widow challenge which was done by another simmer is this exact town, and basically consists of killing spouses and taking there homes. so I guess that seems appropriate. haha.

I don't like that Barnacle Bay is essentially Sunset Valley, but since Sims 3 is 11 years old, I can get decent prices on the boxed versions of the towns, so spending the money on things other than Sweet Treats isn't the worst thing for me

When I got the Sims 3 for my birthday way back in the day, the person who gave it to me also got me Ambitions and Hidden Springs, I did enjoy the town but seeing how much it was, it makes me realize that it is really a waste of money.

So Hidden Springs has a lot of rich Sims?
I wonder if my 2 million simoleons are enough to fit in with them.
Nah, better go turn more of my family into gold statues worth 50k each.
Yeah, I-m a greedy individual XD
