I've had a bit of luck finding some great games at really affordable prices in unlikely places recently. So, I figured I would tell a bit regarding my collecting practices in hopes that maybe you'll take some of the luck away from me with these tips, because frankly I'm running out of room to store all this crap. All of this in total cost me about $85. Not really an unboxing, but I open up a box of about 20 PC games and show several others that have been saved recently from the depths of thrift stores. If you have any requests for reviews let me know, as always. I also have hundreds more so just ask - I like reviewing not just showing. Lazy Game Reviews continuing after this!

The Am5x86 CPU while being a 133Mhz 486 CPU, is dubbed Am5x86 for a reason, it's performance is around that of a 75Mhz Pentium CPU. However, don't expect it to run Quake very smoothly, as Quake runs slow on it compared to a real Pentium.
The Am5x86 CPU though it the best 486 CPU you can get, and are becoming increasingly harder to find. It's a gem, so take care of it, and enjoy it to it's maximum potential! :D

The most important thing to remember is never give up. You can go for months without finding anything worth buying, but when you do find something awesome it's the most rewarding experience ever.
Also ALWAYS check to make sure the disk is in the box and if there are multiple disks that they're all there. Happy hunting.

I've always wanted to try that -NAM- build engine game since i'm a huge Duke Nukem 3D fan. Do you have a review of it by chance? There are so many videos to skim through so. I just decided to ask. I'll get through all of them eventually though; )

Ok, I'll keep searching. Thanks for the advice! I definitely prefer having real copies of my dos games instead of getting them from abandonware sites, though many of my favorite ones seem almost impossible to find.

Thanks a lot of many many great website stores: D I hope they send stuff to Sweden, most of them, if not, I got one friend in NY who can order them and then send to me: D Lots of good games you got there!

Then grab a serial mouse: )
Seriously, you can get them for like 3 bucks shipped on eBay and the like. Or try thrift stores if you have any nearby, they practically give them away at my local Goodwill.

Many thanks for this videos - very useful sites! Wondering if you're still picking up games for there? Any other sites that you've found good over the past 2 years? -_-

It takes time and extensive searching. Keep in mind 9 times out of 10 I find nothing, but those rare times when amazing deals are found make it worth being persistent.

When i re-installed the Sims 3, all my sims stuff started crashing my computer when i played. Is that just my computer or does it have to do with EA itself?
