Oxygen sensors (Air fuel ratio sensors) are a common problem on many vehicles. A P1155 or P1135 code indicates you have a bad sensor. This is common in Toyota and Lexus cars and trucks. Learn how to test the air fuel ratio sensor to see if it is bad, and then learn how to replace the bad sensor. Nice O2 Sensor Socket Kit

The meter thing is definitely going to be useful, my car being a Hyundai coupe siii, is a pain to find information about the o2 sensor! I struggle to find information to locate it and it seems like the community is very just wing it and if it isnt that then try something else (typically exhaust leaks) but this should hopefully make sure Im getting my moneys worth.
Just wish the car had more online help. Its such a decent car that drives nice. Just that its MPG and engine isnt good but if you over look that, its great!

Hi chris, brakes plus says my car needs a new catalytic converter 2016 Nissan altima. It's got a p0420 code but they're also telling me that they recommend getting two new oxygen sensors as well as a tune up with the new converter. Is this true or are they trying to pull a fast one on me?

Awesome videos. I have a 2013 GMC Sierra 2500hd with oxygen sensor problem and I took it to a mechanic shop and they changed the sensor but the next day the check engine came back on o took it back and they said it might have a short somewhere and I should take to the dealership instead.

Too late but did you know that o2 sensors don't actually go faulty. What i mean is that the sensor tip gets clogged and that's why it won't work anymore. Just heat it up with blowtorch until its red hot and then just press compressed air into it blowing all the shit away.

My gas mileage has gotten worse over the years and i heard changing these out could help. I have a 2009 chevy malibu lt 2. 4 l and it gets 22 mpg city but lately its been getting 18 or worse. Already changed out my air filter. Would you recommend changing this out?

HI Chris my 2015 lexus IS350 threw a code P013C on my OBD2 scanner and it doesn't specifically say which bank and which number of sensor it is - tried googling and no definitive answers yet, any help would be appreciated thanks!

Hey Chris just wanted to know what happens if you place a downstream sensor in a upstream sensor. Will the sensor break and become no good or would it just send a code displaying that its not working properly and just swap it?

I wish my r53 Mini Cooper o2 sensor was this easy-its buried in between the firewall and the manifold. I have to tackle it from below where the sway bar is in the way.
