How to Fix YOUR gas Dryer that is not heating up (Part 1 rear panel) Tyler: My igniter is only glowing some if the time. Like one out of ten times. Ive tested thw igniter and it tests fine. I tested all thermostats amd they test good. Coils test good. Flame sensor tests good. When i test the red timer contact ( unplugged from the back of the timer) to the blue wire on the door sensor. I get OL for ohms. Same thing doing red timer contact tp neutral on the plug. And the thermostat heater reads a 0. 0

After watching your video I was able to diagnose my dryer in 5 minutes saving me lots of. It was the fuse. One comment, the fuse showed good on the meter when the two wires were connected. Being suspicious I disconnected the wires in order to isolate it and it then showed no continuity. It is probably best to isolate each component before testing because each model of dryer may be slightly different in its wiring.

Excellent! You saved me 600. I actually bought a new dryer and had to send it back because it could not fit through my doors. With desperation stepping in, I decided to scour the Internet for a solution. I can across you video and the rest is history. Problem solved for 5. 00 and my other 695 is back in the bank.

Hey Chris. I have a Samsung gas dryer. The dryer ignites, but the flame shuts off after about 4 to 6 seconds. It doesn't get hot enough and it takes 2-3 hours to dry a load. I've changed the thermistor and hi-limit temp sensor, but no change. Any idea what it could be?

Ok Chris help me please. I have tested everything in both videos. I even replaced the solenoids for good measure, both sets test good. I have gas to the dryer. But no flame. What am I missing? Thanks for all your help and support with your videos

Thank you so much for this awesome video. My fuse was bad also. Parts company suggested replacing the thermostat next to the fuse as well. So I did. 55 in parts and about 20 min of my time.
Thank you again for sharing your knowledge!

I wish you were here right now cause I would give you the biggest high 5! I have seen hours of videos today and NO ONE explains or SHOWs everything close up like you. God bless and much appreciated!

So my thermal fuse would not read at first, then it was reading, then it wasn't, then it was. Am I holding the little multimeter connectors wrong or is thermal fuse in the process of going bad?

Used this to fix my gas dryer today. It was a perfect guide to troubleshooting my dryer. I checked the fuse first, and that was it. I did have an obstruction, so Im glad it failed. Easy fix.
