Learn how to flush and fill the coolant in your car or truck. Keep your radiator, heater core, and engine clean. Flushing your coolant is good for the cooling system to prevent rust and to prevent your car from overheating. First you drain the old coolant from the radiator, then you fill it with distilled water and coolant flush chemical. Then you run the car. Then you drain the water from the radiator and fill it with 50/50 antifreeze. How to Superflush your Cooling System

My heater core was leaking and bypassed by my mechanic. Do I need to get that fixed to properly flush the cooling system. My coolant is looking sort of old and I was thinking about flushing it just for basic maintainace in my 00 f150. I'm no mechanic but I try to do what I can. Most jobs I take to the mechanic. I do admire the work that a good mechanic can do. Chris fix makes everything look and sound easy but it never is

I wonder why you always have videos on old cars and not any of new vehicles. I watch this video to see if I can perform coolant flush on my 2014 CRV. I noticed my vehicle has reservoir and there is no information in this video about reservoir.

Thank you for the video, Chris! Is it safe to run the car for a minute when most of the coolant has been drained, but there is residual in the block, to help completely drain the block?

Do I need to use the chemical flush if my coolant isn't too dirty? Can I just flush it exactly how you did but with out the chemical or cleaner just distilled water and coolant? Thanks!

Am I the only one that saw Chrisfixs face at 1: 05? Might not be you right ChrisFix, but I was tripping when I saw your face since Im super used to just seeing your hands lmao

Sweet video! My only comment is that adding rust inhibitor may not be necessary depending on the coolant you are using. Some OEM coolants already contain a rust inhibitor package.

I turned on the engine to get all the water out and locked my keys in the car. 2 hours later and the locksmith finally showed up but now the car won't start. Any suggestions?

Never use a chemical flush in your radiator it cause seals to burn out quick
Just run the distilled water through it and it will clean it out naturally
