Quality wise, this is gonna be in another league to the Alfa Stelvio. But, drive and handling wise, I wonder how they would do in a comparison? By all accounts I hear great things about the Stelvio and it-s driving characteristics. Most seem to think it is easily the best most fun handling hi rider out there in the market at the minute.
Ok so what I-d love to see is this new DBX, Urus, Macan, Stelvio all going at it, head to head? Now that would be interesting and a ton of fun to boot!
I love cars- particularly performance oriented ones and in these times, these clever engineers have somehow managed to make buses handle!
I say FairPlay to em and keep them coming! cayenne and Macan have allowed Porsche as a company to continue to do what we love from them and what they do best. No brainer!
So I for one salute the hi riders! Alls I-d say is that the emphasis has to always include efficiency. That way we- hopefully- can continue to enjoy this stuff way into the future: )

What have they done! They created a car for a world that won't exist in a few years anymore.
Also the design is aweful. It could be a Kia from the back and the front looks like a vantage but way too high. Just remember that this company styled the DBS.
Aston you can do better but just jamming pieces of present and past together.
I don't think it will be a sucess.
Want presence: URUS
Want performance and Quality: Cayenne
Want luxury: Mercedes
Want Styling: Alfa Stelvio.

Some people are expressing dislike for this production however I personally cannot think of many SUVs more desirable than this. In 2019 around 40% of units sold by Rolls Royce happen to be the Cullinan leading to record sales so who can blame Aston Martin. Car companies of today have to be Dynamic and continue to evolve. or dissolve.

Hey Autocar, can we please get new cameras? I would be happy to support through some Patreon scheme or what have it. But it's time to up the quality. Footage inside the car is extremely soft; as if shot on a mobile phone. The industry has moved to 2k and even 4k in some cases. What will it take?

Looks like an AM Rapide: albeit with a higher ground clearance - guess the DBX paves the way for versions from Mercedes Benz Maybach, Ferrari, Pagani or those who have won't miss a million pounds sterling or dollars - one by Bugatti.

This may come as a shock to some, but Aston (and it is Aston not Astin) need to make money. Like it or not, SUV-s are in demand in all price brackets and Aston didn-t have one therefore hey presto here it is. Live with it.

Hope it will be a great success so they can make cars enthusiasts want, it worked for Porsche lets hope it does same for Aston, but they will need some variation in models and cost like Porsche has.

Sycophant -journalist- and many wishful comparisons to URUS. This AM is shaped kinda Infinity QX-like, unfortunatelly nothing new under the sun.
