Show me a rider who's won a race, even one, at the Isle of Mann, and that bloke is A ) obviously a pretty decent rider, quick, technically capable, and B ) clearly has real balls.
Show me a bike that has won at the IoM, particularly if it has won with multiple riders, in multiple classes, and I'll show you a truly great fast road-bike. What you want to win at the IoM, is EXACTLY what you want to have a fast road-bike, because that's what it is. This is real road racing. This is as fkcun real as it gets. They've been perfecting this for slightly over a hundred years, and they've just about got it right.

The IOM is an awesome place. If you don't like huge biker queues, why not go when they are not racing? There is no national speed limit all year round outside towns etc. Have the road/track to yourself. I don't know how they can ride the course so fast! Get yourself there, it's cheaper when the TT not on. Great for cars as well a bikes, motorcycles or even walking. I've uploaded a couple of videos of the fun you could be having; )

As a young man I was involved in automobile racing; did not race motorcycles, but loved watching motorcycle competition. The sound of the internal combustion engine at full song has been, for me, a pleasure to experience, whether operating or observing motor vehicles in competition. The time will come I suppose, when electric race vehicles will be common place. When this happens, I will have to let motorsports go.

I will never be for an electric bike. No soul, no feeling. Those who dont ride dont know. And honestly power to weight comparison to other bikes in the class(liter bikes) they arent faster in a lot of cases.

Great video clip. Went 2018 got the bug and back in 2019. Riders have amazing courage. The TT- well there's nothing else like it and the producers captured the essence of what makes a great event.

The demographic of the riders themselves is interesting. Most seem to be at least in their 30's, you don't see many young guys. Perhaps experience here pays big dividends.
