The new Evogue is in the Netherlands hit (for the first edition petrol version) with a mind blowing 22, 000 Euro CO2 tax, due to the severe polution level. The base price for this model (first edition)climbs to 94, 000 euro base price. To give you an idea, that makes it equally expensive as a Porsche Macan S with a 6 cylinder 3. 0 litre engine(the basic Macan is only 84, 000 euro) Needless to say, I will pick the porsche instead.

So many mistakes - dual screen is an option. Car also loaded with options which are not clearly mentioned. Need to do some research before review!

The Evoque's a good looking car, unlike the bulbous-nosed Velar, so if they've sorted the first version's shortcomings it should sell well.

Forty grand? and up from there. Really? Why is the MPG so bad, 27 mpg on a new little 2 litre with mild hybrid, that-s terrible.
