Wang Sai Thong Waterfall - Things To Do in Satun, Thailand - Watch Next: $100 Beach Villa Paradise: SATUN, THAILAND - Welcome to Satun, a beautiful province in Southern Thailand on the Andaman sea and bordering Malaysia. Along with spectacular islands, delicious food, and amazingly friendly people, Satun is home to a number of spectacular waterfalls. About an hour drive from Satun city is Wang Sai Thong Waterfall (, a waterfall I had on my list to visit - so I was excited to finally have a chance to visit. #Satun #travelvlog #waterfall Wang Sai Thong Waterfall - Price - 200 THB ($6. 60) entrance (just 20 THB for Thai citizens. Just a 100 meter walk from the parking lot and you-ll reach the beautiful waterfalls. The waterfall is not a huge drop waterfall, but it-s rather a series of cascading waterfalls and baths of water that have naturally formed. It really is a natural waterfall playground and bath tub. An amazing place to hike around, swim, and splash in the water. I really enjoyed it. Restoran Negara - Next we drove back to Satun city, about an hour drive and went to Restoran Negara, a central restaurant and tea shop right in the heart of the city. It was Friday, so quite a few restaurants were closed in the city so we just stopped here because it was open. We ordered a number of dishes, and overall the food was alright. The roti and the teh tarik were a little sweet, but very good. Total price - 640 THB ($21. 12) And that wraps up day one in Satun, and I would highly recommend Wang Sai Thong Waterfall as one of the top things to do when you-re in Satun!

Mark is so cool, he-s willingly to go anywhere, with his family, does anything and eats anything to bring us information for that I-m so grateful. He-s such a great story teller, part of his appeal and articulate his information clearly. Enjoy your trip today

Wang Sai Thang Waterfall is in Wildlife Sanctuary, not National Park. Our payment's back to local and forest guard staff. There're 155 National Parks and 60 Wildlife Sanctuaries in Thailand. Thanks for your kindness & your payment.

That waterfall is MARVELLOUS! As for the charge, I don't know why some Asian countries do charge foreigners heavily and I hate it. Especially, India. And they scam a lot, too.

Very cool water falls. I thought Ithaca NY had nice ones. It-s weird how the trees can be growing into the rocks. Your brave at climbing and eating. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Mark for bringing us visiting Southern Thailand virtually. Once the Malaysia-Thailand border is open, I will definitely come and visit Thailand again.

I-m glad you practice English with Micah. He-ll appreciate it more when he-s older. A true global nomad has to be a true multi-linguist

I love it when I hear Micah in the background. You make it sound so real, and I love how you take your family to work with you!
