Watching this left me with such a feeling of joyful serenity, right up to the last few minutes when you walked into that restaurant. Wish I had shut it off there before seeing all the skinned and stuffed bears. It was like a shrine to man's callous cruelty to other species. Those noble and beautiful creatures had stared out over the water and felt the peace of the magical forest long before humans arrived. they have more right to be there and left in peace than we do. To think they were killed just so some idiot human could feel like a big man. What a sad note to end this video on.

Stumbled across this video and watched 'til the end recognizing every turn and landmark. I've hiked this trail many times and loved watching your reactions to this visually stunning area. It's in my back yard, literally. Never heard of you guys but will search for more of your work. Nicely done. That Peregrine falcon was in the same birch this past October when I last hiked to Spray Falls. You must know how lucky you were to have 3 consecutive days of nice weather along that trail. Autumn 2019 never saw more than one day of good weather at a time.

Thank you so much for this video. It was amazing! I am a widow at 63 yrs. old and this is on my bucket list. After watching this video I have decided to put a plan of action moving forward. It might be the senior version, but I will finish. This is by far the best video on hiking Pictured Rocks. I really appreciated all of your knowledge of plants and trees. You cooked amazing meals, not what I expected. The best part was when you both jumped into Lake Superior. Oh my, I know how cold that water is, but it is irresistable. Again, great job!

That was the most incredible, beautifully edited, cinematic, emotion filled nature video I've ever seen. You guys did the Pictured Rocks justice like no other. You managed to capture the feeling I had when I went up there over 10 years ago. It's not like other videos where it just feels like a typical American hike; you guys captured that ancient feeling it has where it feels like you are discovering it for the first time. You guys really showed what an -adventure- feels like. Absolutely beautiful; I didn't want the video to end. Bravo

This is amazing! In my Native American culture, the fox reveals itself during times of great and unpredictable change. It resembles heightened sense of awareness and compels you to turn up your own senses, gather the information you need, and act swiftly on your decision. This is astounding because you came upon a fox during the season of change, as well as your conversation of character development.

Please be aware of the following: Michigan's Upper Peninsula is an isolated and dreadful place. Harsh Winter lasts 10 months with 2 Summer months of swarms of biting insects. Wolves, bears and cougars are common. Serial killers serve former lovers at barbeques. Drunk and ignorant college age persons from around the U. S. gather in droves. and birds will poop in your mouth.

I got my degree in photography in Marquette, MI over 35 years ago and lived about 2 blocks from Lake Superior. I live down state now and your videos bring me back to one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived in. I sometimes just have your videos playing in the background as I go through my day. Thank you for bringing me back.
BTW- wonderful photography.

Aah Pure Michigan! I love my state and all of it's diverse splender! It is unique for sure. Wonderful video, you captured it in it's true essence. Great narrative as well. Thank you for this. great to watch! What was the sound track for the last sequence in the deep forest walk. I believe it started at 49: 00. Again thank you for your video!

You had me going with that -Cerulean- word when you referenced the water. I don't ever remember hearing that word before. I had to look it up. Wikipedia says it -is a shade of blue ranging between azure and a darker sky blue. - That certainly was an apt adjective for what you were photographing.
