Hi guys the kern river is a wonderful place I live about 20 minutes drive from the mouth of the canyon and go there all the time I have not yet gone rafting but I will this next year as long as the river is high enough it has been low the last few years, the fishing is good, look up kern river tea cups, and the slide you may missed this but there is always next time Thomas may do some exploring to find a fun time for you all next time your in CA

Greetings from bakersfield. Nice video but you should come back and try this again spring when the flows are up. Can be extremely dangerous depending on what kind of snowpack we get during winter. Was bad for about 10 years straight but we had a very good winter last year so the flows sustained all the way through summer.

Kern River Outfitters is undisputedly the best rafting company out in Kern River with the best guides that make the time memorable. I, also, had Patrick as a guide when I went rafting and he is totally a down to earth guy. Also, the content in this page is amazing, I love the narration done by you guys.

Many years ago I went white water rafting in the Smokies with a group of friends and it was such an awesome experience! I need to do it again and try to convince my family go with me.
But my day was only an 1 hour river ride, not an extensive camping trip. Looks like A LOT of fun.

Growing up in So. CA. my family camped on the Kern about a dozen times before I was in school, all I could remember was the small beaches and big boulders. (Just like I remember) That was in the early 60's. Thanks.

Very Nice! Best Company on the Kern River. So good to see some footage from the BIG 2017 year without rafts in the trees, boats flipping, or customers swimming for miles. Great video, class act, and perfect song!

You guys should try raft backpacking. Just raft down the river, then each night find a nice spot along the banks to set up camp. I did a week long trip on the Rogue River in Oregon, one of the best weeks of my life
