One of the beautiful things about weight training is the wide variety of exercises that a lifter can choose from. In addition, there are countless exercise combinations and variations that a training program can be comprised of. Some choices can be inferior to others. Unless a lifter is familiar with muscle anatomy and biomechanics, it can be easy to waste time on exercises that aren't good. Some of these movements can lead to injury and poorer results in the long term. Tip: Walk on a treadmill on an incline, land flat footed or on heels and stand on your toes before each foot leaves the platform. Try to get a full stretch of the muscle as you walk and feel your body weight in your calves each step. Hold the railing for stabilizing support if necessary. Enjoy the burn you ll get in your calves

I just came off of a 1 week deload/rest week. I injured by wrist doing close grip bench press, I did it with a straight bar, I m going to buy an EZ bar someday and try them again. But for now I ll stick to dumbbells. The pain is gone fortunately, but I ll never do those again with a straight bar

1. Standing DB extension
2. Front raises
3. DB tricep kickbacks
4. Ab crunches
5. Side bends
6. Barbell jump squats
7. Calf raises on flat floor
8. Barbell upright rows
9. Bent over T-bar row in upright position
10. DB chest flyes

I noticed that with dumbbell chest flys I feel more of a stretch on the side chest (which I'm trying to bring up) while with cables I feel more overall chest pump specially the mid area. I guess there's a reason why Arnold and Ronnie had crazy side chests.

As in rn I'm training at home
I don't have access to cables
For chest Flys
I've been doing them with dumbells
So far I've seen good results & thank God no injuries
All exercises are dangerous if you don't execute them the correct way.

Ballet dancers will disagree with you on floor calf raises. Their calves are frigging strong just by doing floor calf raises.
