The stomach vacuum that body builders do for posing is a static version of a dynamic yoga posture that's over a thousand yrs old. Performing it for a minute or two makes even serious hunger feelings evaporate by stimulating the vagus nerve. Science backs this. It also gives huge core strength, relaxes you, increases breathing efficiency. I've done it for over 25 yrs and I think it's one of the most powerful exercises there is. Try it yourself, it's called Udiyana bhanda. sometimes very young children do it naturally and unconsciously. If you want to try again here's some tips. 1. first thing in morning. 2. empty stomach. 3. empty bladder. 4 relatively empty bowel. 5. bend over in a skier position, hands on knees, knees over toes, back a little arched. if you can be shirtless and side on to a mirror to begin with for visual feedback purposes. 6. visualise a string that's tied to the inside of your abdominal wall that's going to pull back towards your back and spine. 7. take one or two full deep relaxed breathes and then forcefully blow out every bit of air you can over a period of 2 to 4 seconds. That takes practice but is crucial because the whole exercise depends on deflating your lungs so there is room in your thoracic cavity for your diaphragm to pop up there. 8. once the airs all out just think up and back with your stomach. if you successfully retract you will see your waste lose 6 inches instantly in the mirror. 9 the benefits come from multiple contractions and releases per exhalations and single isometric contractions because it actively conditions and strengthens your diaphragm like nothing else can. your diaphragms the heart of your core stabilization and breathing. 10. after a week or two of daily short sessions your ability to focus and isolate your recti and will let you perform Nauli which is the twisting wave like movement belly dancers do. Thats good for you two as it gets blood flow going in all your organs but for strength, stability and appetite control just a few minutes a day and when ever youre hungry of Ud

All nutrition advice sounds like a broken record everything seems to cause or prevent obesity heart disease diabetes depression or insulin resistance I'm starting to believe it's not that simple Oreos and grapes literally have the same composition of nutrients they are both mostly sugar now obviously Oreos have more calories and more fat and fewer vitamins and minerals than grapes but at the end of the day they are both mainly sugar

Our bodies don’t need fruit or veggies. You can eat them if you want but I’d argue they don’t bring much to the table and are HIGHLY OVERRATED.
Animal products all day everyday. Maybe some avocado and tomato and mushrooms and sweet potato but that’s about it for me. I eat A LOT of fermented foods though. Raw kimchi and sauerkraut and of course kefir

So glad you guys finally get the advantages of eating fruit and veggies! I’m 67 years young 100% whole foods plant-based vegan for 35 years, never on any meds/PEDs/TRT and all my parts work. Training calisthenics for 8 years. I’ve added an inch of muscle to my arms this year! My doc says my vitals re so good I’ll likely live into my 90’s.

this is solid advice. I set my diet foundation on plain nonfat greek yogurt, frozen fruit, occasionally a little pinch of sugar. meals have mostly veggies and some lean protein. add beans too. HUGE change in leanness and muscle mass a few months later

I think the only thing he forgot was if you want your food to last longer. Turn your refrigerator temperature as high as it goes. Because most food will last much longer that way. Good luck gentleman

Use a pressure cooker for perfectly cooked, fast (3-4 minutes) hard-boiled eggs. As a bonus, they peel super easily with this method.
