Are Arm Days Pointless? / Physique Posing Update Benananananananananananananana: You said that between two groups, where one group has an arm day and one doesn't (but instead incorporates arms into their push/pull workouts, you would see no difference in hypertrophy whatsoever except for the arms, assuming the extra arm day allowed for more arm volume / more focus on the musculature being isolated. This bugged me, because it would only be true if we didn't consider arm mass gains when determining overall hypertrophy. Ignoring the logic error, and focusing on what you said on camera, there is yet really no merit in your proposition about the difference in overall mass gain or local hypertrophy of the arm musculature between the described protocols, because there are other factors at play, some of which may strongly influence how an individual would respond to the training. Even if you controlled for experience (another huge factor, differences in arm muscle fiber type distribution may result in different responses to training the arm musculature in a fatigued vs non-fatigued state.

After listening to the repetitious and offensive background music you inflicted on your viewers in this video, I must say that you should perhaps devote less time to bodybuilding and more time to getting a musical education In a recent research study conducted by researchers at the University of Melbourne, on 3675 subjects, it was determined that modern pop music is mindless shit. As if anyone with an I. Q. over 4 didn't already know this

I love how you give info in a way that looks informative instead of pushing opinion i follow many youtubers that seem to be more concerned in how to sell their program than to fact check what they say in a way newbies cqn understand itBtw, i dont know if i already asked you, im asking this to many youtubers. But. If you had to chose 7 muscles/exercises for men and 7 for women, what would you chose?

I struggle to find a way to fit an arm day in, and still allow optimal recovery for my shoulder/chest daysfor example this is my current routineMON RESTTUE RESTWED LEGSTHU SHOULDERS/TRICEPSFRI RESTSAT BACK/BICEPSSUN CHESTI feel having a dedicated arm day on Tuesday may hinder my recovery from Sunday, and I feel I might not be recovered enough for shoulders on Thursday (triceps wise.

I was currently doing the following split: Back/Biceps, Abs/Calves, Chest/Triceps/Delts, Legs but I really like your current split and will be giving it a run. Abs and calves would be added in whenever I feel like it is time. As a fellow 5'5 aspiring bodybuilder, you sure motivate me to push further Cheers man

Loving the vlogs Keep them coming. And I couldn't agree more, not only are you attacking your weak point which is key in bodybuilding - BUT you're doing your preference and I think the biggest part to results is adherence and consistency, you got to have some fun in your training to accomplish that.

Dude, you use a fork to apply your peanut butter? SacrilegeOtherwise, dopest content on YouTube. Thanks man. Can you please make a video on rear delts and what it would take to grow from scratch? They've been my weakest point, with back my strongest and I am struggling to get them fired.

your editing is becoming better after each video I'm so freak of the info that you give that every large comment you write I pause the video to read it calmly haha P. S. I hate training arms, seems like I don't have the motivation of hitting a challenging compound movement: (

at around 4: 39 you say that jf there was a study comparing the PPL split without an arm day and the PPL split with an arm day, that there would be no change in hypertrophy. Do you mean no change in hypertrophy in the other body parts besides arms, or no change at all?
reply

Jeff I added an arm day as well following your discussion on the benefits of training a bit more like a bro, and I have seen some considerable gains in my arms since. Just wanted to say thank you for continuing to put out novel and informative content. Cheers
