WWE Jinder Mahal Workout - Assessment (PART 2)

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
When WWE superstar Jinder Mahal visited the ATHLEAN-X gym the other day for an injury assessment and workout, we captured it all on film. In this video, you-re going to get a behind the scenes look into what goes into being one of the top wrestlers in the business and the type of attention paid to his workouts and training to make sure he not only gets to the top but stays there. Accompanied by the Singh Brothers, Part II of the Jinder Mahal workout series wraps up the evaluation of the previously injured shoulder and transitions to workouts and training techniques that can be used to help strengthen the area and keep him training while continuing to address the rehabilitation needed to fortify the area against future injury. We cover the importance of front loaded pressing, which can be achieved most easily with an Olympic bar in a landmine setup. Pressing from this position puts the arm in the anatomically friendly scapular plane. Not only does this allow pressing exercises to be performed by those that are dealing with a bit of shoulder discomfort but it does so in a more natural plane and minimizes the risk of injury. Many different exercise variations are covered to make sure and hit the shoulders from all angles and functions. Pressing movements like the bench press and pushups are also covered extensively here. The high degree of shoulder involvement in these exercises demands that we address them to make sure that the more mobile shoulder joint isn-t compromised when doing these popular moves. The importance of once again limiting the trap dominance that can quickly alter the biomechanics of these exercises is addressed as well as techniques

I'd not only like to thank Jeff but I'd like to thank jinder and other athletes who allow Jeff to publicly share these training sessions as I am sure the athlete, team/organization or sponsors are paying well for Jeff's services. publicly sharing your own personal training is not beneficial for an athlete. Jinder doesn't have to publicize this and it's selfless to do so in order for us -regular folk- to get access to sessions like this.
On a side note I wanna point out the respect and humility it takes for a man of Jinder's stature and physique to allow another man to teach him how to do a proper push up and other basic excersises that he has prolly done his whole life. Meanwhile you got skinny fat finesse guru social media influencer types -calling out Jeff- on the quality of his training and mocking things like -functional weight training-. It just shows how polar opposite in character these two types of ppl are. On one hand you have pro athletes showing utter respect and humility and internet clowns with a camera trying to pretend they know more than jeff

10: 33 i got up to 4 20 kg plates doing this but i got nothing out of it so i stopped it and got the weight rigjt underneath the shoulder by using the seated press machine with one arm i worked my way up to 5 20 kg plates and i got somthing out of it then the gym took the machine away so i left that gym they had previously taken away the lat pull down. machine that went up to 220 lbs that i worked my way up to being able to do i lost strength its like they dont want anyone to build big muscle total assholes

never heard of him before but hes a pretty big dude. tbh im only here coz I checked out part one and he seemed pretty humble. its always cool when someone has that look about them that theyre just tuned in and wanting to learn and just do whatever theyre told and take it all in. any other approach when working with someone like Jeff in a fitness context would just scream arrogance. Shut up and do the work, then go home and put some whipped cream on those gains!

Jeff! I noticed that doing repititions with perfect technique as u suggest results in training with way lower weights but better muscle mind connection! But I was wondering wether this would be as benificial as doing sets with heavy weights, less perfect technique and less muscle mind connection for strenght? Hope you see this!

Tried the plate cicuit and the ladder exercise toward the end. They both were rough for me but they were fun and I enjoyed doing something different in the gym. I'm an Athlean-X member and I've learned so much. Keep the good intel coming.

This guy is so massive and buffed. Just by looking at him now i dont see 2 more levels even existing. But at the end of this training, i can only see that after a year with jeff he would go like 3 levels more.
