Hahahaha... this handheld pc wave is reminding me of the old age of portable videogames, like the game gear, which were gigantic pieces of hardware. As time passed, the devices evolved, reeuced in size, and now they are getting bigger again... The passage of time changes the perception of what is fashion back and forth... hahaha...

I wonder how the gaming performance is with overclocking the msi claw cpu and gpu to its highest cpu tdp with after burner and using the msi dragon center to adjust the settings. I hope that msi makes a titan version of the msi claw called the msi claw titan edition or titan version or whatever it would be called.

It would have been better if it had detachable controls, and a bit smaller bezels. Using it as a tablet and in tabletop mode would be nice, it also makes it easier to replace the controllers if they stop working. The legion go has smaller bezels then this and the steam deck.

Too big, probably too heavy, the black bar with the MSI Logo is totally unnecessary and ruins the whole picture, adding space that will render difficult for most people reaching for the shoulder buttons and holding the device without fatigue.

1 only one set of back buttons
2 no touch pad, windows hello camera
3 I prefer symmetrical layout
4 steamOS support
5 fingerprint reader
6 screen with BFI while VRR
7 maybe SD express

De todos los productos en este segmento este Msi Claw 8 AI y el Rog Ally X son los que posiblemente se le acerquen mas al futuro concepto del portatil de Microsoft, lo cual me parese fantastico!!

Strix Point massive gains at 17W set a high bar. Hopefully Lunar Lake laptops don't kill the Claw hype late September and we will have our Strix Point Lunar Lake handheld showdown at CES.

1. If the display is horizontal in BIOS.
2. If Intel Arc is better than 890M.
3. If there is 24-32GB of RAM.
I will immediately buy MSI Claw 8

Its exciting but given how MSI priced the previous claw its gonna be very expensive. The 16gb one will probably be 800 and 32gb one at whopping USD 900!

I love my steam deck, but I would buy something stronger tomorrow, I dont mind windows.
What I do mind is only two back buttons, and no trackpads.

My Lord in a few years we're going to look back at all these products that inserted AI in the name for no reason and just roll our eyes.

Super excited to see an Intel powered gaming handheld, especially one with great performance and low power consumption. Finally!
