You guys seem like fun people and thanks for the review. This thing is probably old news by now but I just found one brand new for $85 and purchased it. Its attractive to me because I work in a machine shop and I'm around grease, metal dust and grinding dust, and perform some physical labor as well. My job has been pretty hard on my phones over the years. Me personally, I'm not on my phone a lot at work so if I can keep the wear and tear down on my Motorola Z4 and have something practical like this to stay connected at work it's a win win for me. I also purchased a heavy duty OtterBox style case for it so this things gonna be a little tank-. It's either a gimmick, or the people at Palm are onto something because it definitely got my attention. With a few refinements and a realistic price point around $100-$150. In that price range for the phone itself it would make that extra $10/month more appealing and I think more people would consider it Especially active people who've broken their phone on the job or at the gym.

I like the concept of this phone; you can leave your main phone at home and you can take and use this small phone anywhere. The only and big problem I found is that this small phone, does not sync the Android Google LLC Phone and Messages apps, in your big phone; meaning that you have to use the Verizon Phone app and Verizon Message+ app in both phones, you like it or not. Everything else is pretty cool, very super comfortable to carry around. Camera is not to good. You are able to have to have two different phone calls at the same time; something I discovered by accident; I answered a phone call in the palm and suddenly another phone call came in, I tried to decline the phone call in the big phone and accidentally I answered as well. Must be because Palm uses its own sim card with a different number in Verizon.

Insists -I think its running a rockchip- - seriously anyone in the tech industry should know that a Verizon exclusive device isnt running a rockchip or mediatek cpu thats pretty exclusive to Foreign Unlocked GSM phones. But just about any US carrier specific device will be running Snapdragon thats just a given even Samsung has (mostly) given up marketing exynos to America. Intel had a couple very unusual phones with Asus etc but honestly they dont seem to have a future in it. I just find the sarcasm of calling youself a tech media company but not even having reviewers who understand what they are talking about is just kind of bad.

It's my main driver and only driver and it works just fine. It does everything I wanted to do. Verizon is out of the loop. You can now purchase these phones unlocked without all that Verizon crap. I use mint mobile which is $15 per month and gives me 3 gigs of data per month so 200 bucks for the phone plus $180 a year for mint mobile and you have an epic smartphone. The only issue is the battery life. You just have to make an adjustment.

It is not as fast as a pixel 4a, but it's pretty darn close. I'm even shocked how fast this device is. If you like small phones, this phone is epic. The facial recognition is spot on instant and the apps load almost instantly. It also has some of the best security in the business because it's owned by Palm pilot division.

Edge to edge 4s size. I-ve been wanting that since I had 4s. That phone felt the best. Hoping for a small phone trend to continue. Big size makes more intrusive experience as opposed to something smaller that compliments of falls more into the background. Can-t wait for Apple to hope on this.

right now I run with an old iPod for my running music. my iPhone is to big and heavy for running. This would be perfect for my runs. its basically a small iPod that I can have Google Play on for my music. and have the use of a phone in emergency's.

Yeah when they said they will hang on iPhone 4s and SE for life. It felt very good. As i also feel those were the best designed phone for lifetime.
Right now i have iPhone 4s and 6s. And I love iPhone 4s very very much.

Great review. I didn't have the feeling that you were secretly working for Apple and intent on trashing the Palm. I've watched one other review of the Palm that made me wonder about that reviewer's objectivity.

I hate SUPER HUGE pointless phones ie APPLE. why can-t APPLE go back to their first phone with all the technology off today everybody else is doing it ie Unihertz, jelly pro, Atom. . Wakes Wakey APPLE take note.
